I tried Suchi Zushi for the first time. Happy hours are from 3 to 7 pm everyday. There are some specials including weekly-featured sushi roll with reduced price. The menu is very extensive including very traditional and popular Japanese dishes. I tried some sushi. Overall, they were good. Rice was very small, and it didn't have enough vinegar flavor in... I really enjoyed the food here. We had several in our party that had never eaten at a Sushi restaurant but there was plenty for them to choose from. It really helped having someone in our party that was more familiar with what the entrees were so they could help order. overall, a very good place to eat.

This is our first time in San Antonio and we had never had our dinner at a Sushi Zushi before. It is a simple restaurant right in downtown on S St. Marys. On Sunday night kitchen closes at 9.30 pm. Some tables outside but the most inside where the temperature is almost freezing. We ate dumplings, Dallas rolls with daikon... More

We stopped in for lunch this past weekend and enjoyed the sushi. Everything was fresh and tasted very good. Our waiter was attentive and provided us many recommendations. The atmosphere was light and airy...best suited for casual lunch or happy hour. We would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Had sachimi and eel cone. Oh and 2 gin & tonics. Seafood was remarkably fresh. Will definitely come back.

My wife and I ate here twice on a recent business trip to San Antonio. We both enjoyed a number of their signature rolls and sampled several of their most popular dishes. All were fresh and flavorful. I am not quite sure why some reviewers gave this restaurant such harsh reviews. The area around the River Walk is loaded with... More

Not the best sushi I've had, but it was pretty good for the price. It's casual, and close to the river walk.

My party of 3 had dinner here last week. It was by far the worst Japanese restaurant any of us have ever eaten at. Service was poor, the food was barely edible. A few particulars: 1. I ordered a beer. The waiter said he'd bring it right away. After 10 minutes with no beer in sight, I had to remind... More

Good quality sushi and sashimi at reasonable prices. Great unique cocktails, dragon roll, tofu, miso soup, and mushroom appetizer. Wait staff is friendly, casual, and knowledgeable. Close to River walk which is an added bonus.
