WOW!

Don't miss this place!! A pearl. You've never eaten Mexican like it. Ernesto was such a gentleman and suggested dishes for us. Everything he brought to the table was incredible.

Ernesto welcomed us at the door, showed us to our table, and introduced us to the best Mexican seafood ever! It's the perfect spot in San Antonio for an intimate lunch or dinner -- delicious appetizers, entrees, drinks and desserts a a very fair price. We'll be back.

The atmosphere is very calm and inviting. It is so clean and charming. Ernesto came and introduced himself and made me and my son feel like family. Dim lighting and candles add to the ambiance. We had the pleasure of hearing live music as well. The food is seriously so good. So are the Margaritas. The portions are perfect. The... More

This was our first time eating at Ernesto's but it certainly will not be the last. We arrived around 9:00 p.m. and were greeted and seated in a timely manner. The restaurant is located in a strip mall but stood out when we pulled into the parking lot. You could see through the windows the brilliant white table clothes accented... More

Very glad I found this place via trip advisor. As soon as my colleague and I were seated, we were created by Ernesto himself who thanked us for coming. You can tell this place is family run, the food and service reflect it. The salsa is amazing, award winning and unique. The tortilla soup is spot on. I had the... More

This is a GREAT find. A family run business that really cares about quality and hospitality. The entrees(...we had beef & seafood) are full of wonderful flavor, and Ernesto will modify to suit your taste. The sauces are sooo tasty! We went for lunch and enjoyed every bite! Make the effort to try this venue, and savor the flavor.

So, it's in a strip mall and if you let that stop you from eating good here, you're going to miss out. We were greeted by Ernesto, who is everything a restaurant owner should be...involved and passionate. He explained to us the history of his restaurant and his vision. He talked to us about the menu, which is merely a... More

We were in Northwestern San Antonio yesterday and looking for a restaurant for lunch. Trip Advisor came through again and directed us to this lovely little Mexican restaurant tucked away in the middle of a shopping center. The owner Ernesto greeted us and chatted with us about his specialities and famous sauces since it was our first time there. We... More

Husband and I have eaten here twice now for lunch and were just very pleased both times. Today we ordered the special, which was the snapper, stuffed with shrimp and scallops on the side. It was perfectly cooked. Light. And so perfectly delicious. We had a wonderful little tres leches type cake with layers of rum, strawberries, and chocolate, with... More
