Went expecting traditional Tex-Mex food but found unique flavorful menu items . Special sauces and great flavor combinations. Friendly atmosphere and welcoming service

This is a GREAT find. A family run business that really cares about quality and hospitality. The entrees(...we had beef & seafood) are full of wonderful flavor, and Ernesto will modify to suit your taste. The sauces are sooo tasty! We went for lunch and enjoyed every bite! Make the effort to try this venue, and savor the flavor.

So, it's in a strip mall and if you let that stop you from eating good here, you're going to miss out. We were greeted by Ernesto, who is everything a restaurant owner should be...involved and passionate. He explained to us the history of his restaurant and his vision. He talked to us about the menu, which is merely a... More

We were in Northwestern San Antonio yesterday and looking for a restaurant for lunch. Trip Advisor came through again and directed us to this lovely little Mexican restaurant tucked away in the middle of a shopping center. The owner Ernesto greeted us and chatted with us about his specialities and famous sauces since it was our first time there. We... More

Husband and I have eaten here twice now for lunch and were just very pleased both times. Today we ordered the special, which was the snapper, stuffed with shrimp and scallops on the side. It was perfectly cooked. Light. And so perfectly delicious. We had a wonderful little tres leches type cake with layers of rum, strawberries, and chocolate, with... More

I ate dinner there on 20 Nov 2014. Ernesto himself greeted us and provided a great information about his love of food, his background and some menu suggestions. If its not on the menu...ask and he can probably make it happen. Not advertised is raw oysters on the half shell with a special spicy sauce he makes. Who would have... More

Excellent food and service. Ernesto is a nice man and is one of the finest culinary Chef's to come from Mexico. His food knowledge is excellent. Ernesto's specialty items are Mexican Seafood. It is not traditional Tex-Mex. Now the disappointing part...I've experience and numerous friends have also determined that Ernesto's staff will add additional drinks to your bar tab or... More
