Description: Our chefs have painstakingly created a menu of wine-friendly fare consisting of old world hors d'oeuvres and regionally inspired tapas. From baked Texas goat cheese with kalamata olives to fresh chocolate covered strawberries, the menu caters to the diversity of the food enthusiasts. Charles Court, at the rear of Zinc, is a truly serene gathering place for a rare outdoor experience. The private, spacious courtyard makes for a quiet sanctuary from the clatter of downtown city streets and the Riverwalk.

If you're looking for a break from tourist traffic and a great meal, Zinc is the place to go. The cozy restaurant has bar, dining room, and outdoor seating options, and is typically full of locals who live or work nearby. If the weather is nice, sit in the outdoor courtyard; it is an oasis in the city. The menu... More

A hotel employee recommended this place and we are so thankful. Its close to the Riverwalk but not on the river. The lunch menu was impressive. I had a delicious salad and I am one of those people who ask them to make substitutions for everything and they did. The grilled chicken was very yummy. My husband had a fabulous... More

This place is fantastic! It's away from the Riverwalk on the street level. A business partner brought us back in September and i knew i was coming back. Right sized meals and a huge wine selection. The atmosphere is great, service is the best. The meals are highly affordable. Love the antipasto appetizer, I haven't been let down by the... More

Zinc's restaurant is near the Riverwalk, accessible only on street level. The menu is creative and the food is consistently good. You can eat in the bar area, the restaurant dining room, or the cozy patio in the back. Extensive wine list. Service is excellent.

Got off my flight and needed something near the hotel as the hotel restaurant was not open. The concierge recommended this place. I was not too sure about a casual meal there. The place is really cosmopolitan but I the bartender asked me where I preferred to sit and handed me a pretty simple an affordable menu. I had the... More

San Antonio is a real mix of restaurants - lots of "tex-mex" places clearly catering to tourists, a mishmash of all types of restaurants all along the Riverwalk, and except for a very few, most being rather average. My group of colleagues was tired after working all day, and one of them spotted this tiny "wine bar" as we walked... More

The bartender knew all about the different wines. The pasta was DIVINE, and the menu diverse. The decor is great, like a Parisian brasserie with high ceilings and lots of wood and brass.

Excellent food and wine list! The guacamole prepared table side was one of the best I have ever had! The lamb burger with brie and fig was absolutely delicious as well as the cactus pear drink. The truffle fires were somewhat disappointed as I could not taste truffle until the bottom of the tray but still very very good. I... More
