From baked Texas goat cheese with kalamata olives to fresh chocolate covered strawberries, the menu caters to the diversity of the food enthusiasts. Charles Court, at the rear of Zinc, is a truly serene gathering place for a rare outdoor experience. The private, spacious courtyard makes for a quiet sanctuary from the clatter of downtown city streets and the Riverwalk.

Loved this little back patio area; a little cold but they gave you blankets and there were heaters provided, if you didn't want to stay in the main bar area. Enjoyed my burger immensely. Loved having a Zaca Mesa by the glass--great wine selection, though I wished they had a French rose. DH had a skewered shrimp dish over rice--not... More

My girl friends and I were so excited to try this place as it had been recommended by many people including the hotel staff. I am sad to say that we will never be back here. As soon as we walked in the door things started to take a less than pleasant turn. A middle aged woman hesitated to greet... More

I arrived in town late and wanted a quick bite near the hotel. I sat at the bar and the bartenders took good care of me. Everyone was welcoming and the food and wine were delicious.

This is such an interesting restaurant on multiple levels. First, the food was excellent until our dessert was served; more on that later. The ambiance is modern, hip and relatively young. We were there on a Thursday night at 8pm and were still able to hear each other until about 8:45. As we neared 9pm, large groups of 20 somethings... More

Whomp whomp. I was lured here by the good yelp reviews and left disappointed. The place is lovely, with a nice large, indoor space, a decent sized bar and a really pretty patio with fire lamps and lit trees. The drink selection was respectable so where Zinc fell flat for me was the food. We came here rather than an... More

I visit on average 30 restaurants a month...this is one of my favorites and small enough to get great service and great food. Good menu selection...primarily known as a bar by locals but good food and appetizers.....surprising crab cakes for lunch and great salads......ask and check their daily specials...friendly atmosphere and staff has worked for many years...enjoy the attention of... After a Spurs game we were looking for a place to get a bite before turning in and found Zincs. What a great place!! Great food, nice selection of single malts and small batch bourbons. My idea of a wonderful late night food bar!

If looking for a burger, go for the Zinc Burger! Zinc is a nice place with a not so long menu of great options. The escargots are from heaven. Service is somewhat pushy though very cordial. My evening was going real nice until they wanted my table back and after dessert I was automatically handled the check without a chance... More

My wife and I are San Antonians who appreciate downtown but don't like the tourist traps or the increasing number of hipster hangouts. This place is a little hipster-ish (saw three separate dudes nursing wine by themselves while pondering the ceiling at the bar) but I digress. We had heard the burgers were good. They are, and since they come... More

Was recommended to here for lunch by my hotel. Had some free time to myself and wanted something simple yet unique and this place hit the nail on the head. Great friendly staff. Amazing guacamole, which is apparently a signature item of their's. It's such a gem and its tucked away on a quiet street. Definitely deserves to be on... More
