Our chefs have painstakingly created a menu of wine-friendly fare consisting of old world hors d'oeuvres and regionally inspired tapas. From baked Texas goat cheese with kalamata olives to fresh chocolate covered strawberries, the menu caters to the diversity of the food enthusiasts. Best food and service in downtown

I arrived here with a small group without notice and they were happy to serve us (unlike other restaurants) which was amazing. The prices are very good for downtown. The food is so delicious I want to travel 300 miles just to eat their shrimp po boy. My group ordered different things, we all tried... read more

Great wine selection finally! You have a lot of wines by the glasses and the food portions are not enormous and carbs based. Nice music as well trendy modern great tasting food reedy perfect service this place is a gem of that price! If you come from a modern city or society and you want something great but don't feel... We stopped by because we fancied something a little more sophisticated than the Mexican fare we had been eating for the previous few nights. We weren't disappointed. The wine list is extensive and they do plenty by the glass. H prefers white and I had a couple of glasses of red. H had the Zinc burger and I had the... More

We recently enjoyed dinner here. My husband had salmon, I had steak, and my son had a burger. All were very good and presented attractively. Service was very good and the restaurant itself was darling inside. Be sure to save room for dessert -also excellent. We will be going back next time we visit our son. You might want to... More

The name has changed, as one other reviewer noted, so hopefully TripAdvisor can change it because it doesn't show up under its true name. This Bistro is just off the River Walk in a very convenient location. The drinks were wonderful, the bartender was great - his name is Rodolfo, and he said "if you order a white Russian, I... More

The lamb burger was juicey and muy rico, I would order it again however the sweet potato fries were good but a little too salty for my taste buds while watching my salt intake.

I was in San Antonio for a convention. I asked the hotel for a recommendation for dinner, and they suggested Zinc. I walked there and ordered takeout, although it is a quaint neighborhood place for a meal and wine to be enjoyed indoors or outdoors. I ordered the portobello patty melt with sweet potato fries which was incredible! The employees... More

Visited San Antonio last summer for a business trip and stayed in the Riverwalk area. The Zinc bistro had been recommended by the Convention and Visitors Bureau as a potential location for a group dinner for a meeting I was planning, so I went there for lunch. The guacamole that is made table-side was the best I've ever had, and... More
