This is a MUST STOP! Happy Hour 3:30-6:30?

Call to confirm happy hour times! Best drinks and Happy hour menu EVER! Drinks were all very high-end and only $3-4. Amazing. Table side guacamole and delicious calamari. We would have ate more if we didn't have another stop! We had a great waitress! WE WILL BE BACK!

Quaint little bistro. Gourmet quality food with impeccable service. Started with jalapeño beef soup and had the ham, cheese and tomato grilled sandwich that was served up with the most delicious warm potato salad. Staff is exceptionally friendly and efficient.

Had dinner here, the bar and restaurant really has a nice ambience, almost more European in feel. Our food was very good, what let the place down was a hiccup in service, our main courses arrived just as we were finishing our starter! Don't know what went wrong but it did spoil the experience somewhat. Other than that I would... More

I was looking for something tasty, but casual, on a Friday night after a tiring day of travel to San Antonio, and found it on the bar side of Zinc. Service was casual, timely, and friendly. When I saw the $3 pear salad on the menu, I thought it was a misprint--it was the best $3 pear salad I've had... More

This cozy downtown wine bar and bistro has a very relaxed atmosphere in spite of its being invariably full. The menu is not extensive, but I was pleased by everything I tried. Not surprisingly, it has a loyal clientele.

I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately the service was terrible. When we first entered we weren't certain if we were in the bar or restaurant and there didn't seem to be a host or hostess to tell us. After standing awkwardly for a few minutes we sat ourselves at a bistro table. We waited another 10 minutes... More

Zinc is a trendy restaurant and wine bar. You enter through the wine bar to a very stylish, small restaurant. The wine list is extensive with wide variety of options from inexpensive, good quality to very high end bottles. The Zinc salad was a delight and inexpensive - $3 for greens, grape tomatoes, apples, pear, goat cheese, tobacco onions and... More

Was in San Antonio at a business conference on a Sunday night and the hotel recommended this lovely off the street wine bar that serves very good reasonably priced food. My colleagues both had the lamb burger to be adventurous and were not disappointed. Definitely try the chili mac and cheese! Our server was great, very attentive and admitted she... More

Loved this little back patio area; a little cold but they gave you blankets and there were heaters provided, if you didn't want to stay in the main bar area. Enjoyed my burger immensely. Loved having a Zaca Mesa by the glass--great wine selection, though I wished they had a French rose. DH had a skewered shrimp dish over rice--not... More

My girl friends and I were so excited to try this place as it had been recommended by many people including the hotel staff. I am sad to say that we will never be back here. As soon as we walked in the door things started to take a less than pleasant turn. A middle aged woman hesitated to greet... More
