The name on the building apparently has changed from this Trip Advisor title to Zinc Bistro and Wine Bar but it remains a good bet. Three seating options: the bar, the dining room, the courtyard. When the weather is good, the courtyard is charming, the kind of place many diners were photographing. Went for lunch with the Zinc burger and... More

We were only in San Antonio a few days but went to this restaurant twice because of the delicious food, good drinks, friendly staff and open courtyard in a quiet setting. We had the portabello mushroom with sweet potato fries, Italian sausage pizza, salads (only $3!!) and table side guacamole which was the best we've ever had. Their sangria was... More

In France, the bar in brasseries used to be made of zinc, so that word came to stand for the bar itself. And so, here we have Zinc in San Antonio, in the best tradition of a French brasserie. Owned by the same people as the venerable establishment Boudro’s on the Riverwalk, this cozy place has a great outdoor terrace,... More

We wanted a relaxed but pleasant dining experience and Zinc's definitely delivered. We started with drinks at the bar while we waited for a courtyard table. There is a nice selection of wine by the glass and plenty of good beer choices. My guy enjoyed that lamb burger and had to fight me off from stealing his sweet potato fries,... More

This restaurant and wine bar is the BEST BEST BEST eatery my wife and I went to in San Antonio... and that's saying a lot considering how many fine restaurants the city boasts. The menu and drink choices are creative. The Zinc Burger and Lamb Burger were yummy. HOWEVER... the go-to item at this place is the table-served guacamole. It... More

First of all you wait extremely long for anything you order as seemingly most personal has enough private and personal stuff to do instead of taking care of customers. As a consequence, conscientious kitchen personal is helping to serve on the table ... Wine selection is worth a visit. Food is OK even if expensive for what you get but... More

Found this on TripAdvisor and booked thru OpenTable . First time and decided to give it a try. Nice location tucked in on Presa street very close to riverwalk hotels. Interesting food selections in a limited menu but has something for everyone. Food quality quite good. Nice wine selection. Outstanding service in that they did not rush at all, was... More

Our group of 12 had dinner at Zinc's. We were able to order from the menu and had a good table which was not crowded. The food and service were good. Really appreciated the timing that kept the meal moving. Too often sit for 3+ hours at a group dinner. Recommend it.

We showed up at Boudro's without a reservation and learned the wait was one hour+. When we told the hostess we'd driven 8 hours that day and just didn't want to wait, she suggested Zinc, which is owned by Boudro's. She called over to Zinc and one of the staff even walked us there. From the minute we walked into... More
