Our chefs have painstakingly created a menu of wine-friendly fare consisting of old world hors d'oeuvres and regionally inspired tapas. From baked Texas goat cheese with kalamata olives to fresh chocolate covered strawberries, the menu caters to the diversity of the food enthusiasts. Charles Court, at the rear of Zinc, is a truly serene gathering place for a rare outdoor experience. The private, spacious courtyard makes for a quiet sanctuary from the clatter of downtown city streets and the Riverwalk.

Great food for value

At a late lunch, we shared appetizers and then hamburger and lamb chops. We loved everything. The service was excellent too.

This is the worse place I have every been to in Texas, well and the 3/4 quarters the way around the world! This is a wine bar. The bartenders, well Mr. Handlebar mustache has NO Affect. Did not say Hi, did not ask me after he took my martini glass, if I wanted something else. Ordered food it was cold... More

I had wanted to try Zinc for several trips, the reviews are great, I love a great glass of wine or cocktail. We were visiting San Antonio with good friends, their first time to San Antonio, and wanted to try somewhere a little off the beaten path. Boy, were we disappointed! Our experience at Zinc was the absolute worst restaurant... More

I stumbled upon this place while staying downtown. I had the ahi poke salad. I was transported to Hawaii again; not what I was expecting in the middle of Texas. I dream of this salad. I had a bite of my mother's burger. It had a frika (sic?)--a cheese crisp--on it. I nearly wept it was so delicious. I am... More

A quaint restaurant away from the crowds and noise of the river walk. Our server, Jackie did an outstanding job and made us feel as if we were visiting family. The food was excellent full of flavor and perfect serving size. Pricing was very reasonable. We both recommend this restaurant beyond any we've tried the past few days.

We went here for food and conversation after a long business meeting. The patio was breezy and comfortable, but quiet enough for our conversations. The service was attentive and efficient without hovering. We had drinks, appetizers and the lamb burger with sweet potato fries was great

I can't say enough about this place. It's one of the best in SA, in my opinion. And I have eaten at most worthwhile restaurants in town. If you are downtown or strolling on the River Walk, make sure you stop by Zinc. The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. Everything from their pizza to their pasta and... More

My husband and I ate a quick lunch here and it was delicious! Although it is not directly on the Riverwalk, we ate outside and it had a quaint European vibe! I chose to have a salad with added chicken - and the chicken melted in my mouth! It was a rotisserie chicken with some type of blackened seasoning -... More
