We recently dined at this little spot just off the beaten path and the Riverwalk. The food was very good and so was the service. The menu isn't large and most of the meals are quite basic, but I found it refreshing and quite good. The whole table was impressed by the simplicity and overall atmosphere of this restaurant. We... We dined here with friends who live in San Antonio but had not dined at Zinc. It's a smaller restaurant. The food menu is not extensive but everthing we ordered was very good. The wine list was very extensive and priced fairly. Definitely order the tableside made gauacamole! It is outstanding. I had the pasta with slow roasted lamb. It... More

This place was recommended by Mackenzie at the Westin Riverwalk for the best burger. She was right! The Zinc burger was amazing. Try the 2-alarm hummus and the prickly pear too. The wine cave downstairs was a super cool experience. I'd love to have dinner down there. Worth the visit.

Went here when Boudro's was too crowded, and come to know it is the same owner, so the Prickly Pear and Guacamole is the same as it is at Boudro's. You come here if you want the bar scene as Boudro's itself does not have a bar area.

We went here while on a business trip. Very close to the river walk, but nice to get away. They have a lot of specialty drinks that seemed to be what most people were having. Large wine list, too. The food looked amazing, but we didn't get to eat here.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our doorman. We both had the special, a Philly cheese steak sandwich paired with a Thai noodle soup. I was pretty tasty. We also had the prickly pear margarita for which the restaurant is known. Could have used a little more more alcohol... The restaurant has a great, trendy atmosphere. Its located just... More

Nice wine list by the glass. Great starters including the tableside guacamole(spelling?)preparation , antipasto, and the truffle oil French fries. The burgers looked wonderful and got rave reviews from diners at adjacent table. Reasonable prices in a nice setting. Huge patio dining area but rain shut that down.

I ate a lunch and a dinner here while visiting San Antonio on business. Very good tableside Guacamole and the cocktails were very good as well. For dinner, my friend and I shared a chopped salad with Salmon tartare and the Strip Steak. The steak was good, nothing special. However, the chopped salad was presented beautifully and had fresh sweet... More

Small bistro style restaurant and bar. Intimate, big city atmosphere. The portabello mushroom burger was terrific. The Zinc burger, their specialty, was thoroughly enjoyed by my wife. The $3.00 caesar salad was unbelievable in taste and price. The shaved parmesan made the difference. Our server was excellent

Slightly off the river walk but a great place to eat and drink. Semis to take its name from the unusual bar counter top. Service was outstanding even with them busy. So good I go there each trip
