This restaurant has a varied menu...my son had the beer battered fish sandwich, my daughter had the child's quesadilla, my husband had the Zuni burger, my older son had the enchiladas and I had the black bean soup....one thing in common - all of it was nasty and we left most of it behind on the plate. more

My girlfriend and I recently ate at the Zuni restaurant in San Antonio. I have to admit I was very skeptical of this place, but I was pleasantly surprised with the food. We had beers, an appetizer and 2 meals for less than $40. The food was really good. The blue corn nachos were delicious! more

My experience is nearly dead-on with a previous review. I recently went to eat here with the in-laws for Memorial day weekend. The restaurant was not crowded upstairs (maybe 4-5 tables including our own) although downstairs had a decent crowd. There were only 2 servers covering the upstairs table - our waitress was hardly ever around - after waiting 20... more

Ended up here on Sat. evening with a group of four b/c they could seat us right away while most other restaurants had a wait of 30min - 1 hour - I now know why. Service was extremely slow and inattentive. We were never brought chips like most tables, had to ask for silverware - after our food was served... more

We had heard about their cinnamon pancakes and wanted to visit before we left. Huge portions, tasty food, and good service! Great pricing too...especially compared to other breakfast places like IHOP. more

I hosted a party of 20 here. The food tasted like it had been pulled from the freezer and nuked in the microwave. The wait staff was AWOL until it came time to present their outrageous bill including a mandatory "gratuity". If this palce didn't have a prominent spot on the river, it would'nt last a day. Buy a drink... more

We stopped at Zuni for lunch. We were able to sit outside on a nice day, and the service was good. We tried the chicken fajitas, which although the chicken was salty, all of the ingredients were very good. The soup of the day (chicken corn) and the Zuni Cobb were both tasty. For the Riverwalk, it's probably an 'average'... more

It was our first time on the Riverwalk. To be honest, Zuni's wasn't our first choice, but we got seated immediately there instead of the hour wait for the other restaurant. It turned out to be a good choice though. The service was good, friendly waiter with great suggestions. The margarita was excellent, as was the rib eye steak! Pricey... more

This restaurant is masquerading as an upscale dining spot on the riverwalk. The reality is an overpriced dinner with mediocre food. more
