We made reservations at Silo (Elevated) on Easter Sunday, after a quick internet search. It was relatively close by (everything in San Antonio is about nine miles from everywhere else, it seems). Trip Advisor reviews were positive, so made reservations and was told menu was $38 prix fixe, and were a little disappointed that Silo's signature dish, "chicken fried oysters"... More

Loved the place and service, the big Texan drinks. Excellent food, an amazingly good risotto al dente, and where the fresh vegetables delicate taste still came through, many appetizers and everything tasted deliciously good. The sommelier brought out a couple of excellent wines that paired well with the food. Thought it was going to be a pretentious place, turned out... More

Had dinner at Silo with an old friend. Great place for a good conversation coupled with good food. The service is confident and prompt, letting you choose the pace of your dinner. The atmosphere is modern but not loud. Perfect for our evening. We had lots to catch up on and the server didn't interrupt at critical times. Very perceptive... More

I went to The Silo with coworkers for dinner on Tuesday night, on the recommendation of my boss. The food was fantastic; everyone enjoyed their dinner. I had one of their nightly specials, which was beef tenderloin with a lobster tail, served with spinach and mashed potatoes. My steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster tail was an added surprise.... More

Sometimes we forget to let everyone know about the BEST in our home town. For me that is Silo Elevated. It doesn't matter if you go to the one on Austin Highway or the one off of 1604, the food and service is always exceptional. Although more expensive than some of the "chains", for the food, ambiance and service, it... More

This a rare gem. We ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and Beef Tenderloin medallions. The meal was exquisite and worth every penny. Perfectly cooked sea bass that melted in your mouth. The beef medallion were medium rare nice Demi glacé laid over fluffy Parmesan mashed potatoes. We concluded the meal with a light and airy chocolate soufflé. Heaven.

Silo is a nice quiet place to have dinner. It is medium size and doesn't get too noisy. The food is excellent as is the service. The waiters have a nice way of being attentive without being disruptive.

My last visit to Silo's was a very pleasant evening, good service and great food. The atmosphere is adult, I don't think I saw even one young child in the restaurant. Soft lights, good wine, and a pretty hefty bill. Was worth it, but not too often.
