Solid Steakhouse

I ate here with a group of about 20 folks while attending a convention. We had a private room and ordered off the menu. Our servers did an excellent job keeping glasses full and food coming. The best items: fabulous filet cooked perfectly, chopped house salad and bread pudding. Sides and... read more

The food at this restaurant is awesome, no matter which location you visit. The eye fillet is my choice, had the crab cakes as my appetiser and it was awesome. Even the apple tart dessert was to die for. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone who wants a great meal.

This review is for the newest San Antonio location at Eilan (La Cantera). Granted, we did not have a luncheon reservation, but we were told it would be a 20 minute wait, despite several clearly open tables and no one else waiting for a table. Once seated, after 22 minutes, the time between ordering and delivery of the food seemed... More

Ruth's Chris is our family favorite for any type of celebration. The steaks are consistently excellent - always cooked to order. The choice of sides appeal to all tastes from the potato choices, asparagus and creamed spinach.

Went for our anniversary ,it was nice . I thought the steaks were very good , we didn't care for the creamed spinach , but everything else was tasty. The waitress was very attentive . Since it was a special occasion we had rose petals on our table ,and they took our picture and had it ready when we were... More

Went for our anniversary and it was fantastic. The service was outstanding. Anthony served us at a bar table. Chairs were like sofa chairs. Anthony didn't leave us hanging. From the time we sat down he was there for all our needs They put rose petals on the table and had a special dessert medley for our anniversary. The steak... More

Ok friends, first let me say I have been to Ruth's Chris before in DC and in South Carolina so I was ready for the "sticker shock". Both times I was blown away by the food so I didn't mind so much. Tonight...that was not true at all. I believe there are three Ruth's Chris' in San Antonio, this review... More

Prices are ridiculous. My steak had average flavor, undercooked and almost floating in grease on 500 degree plate it was served on. French onion soup was medicre at gest. Highly disappointed with this restaurant! ill never go back. Better steak houses in New Braunfels and a lot less expensive.

The staff is really nice and accommodating. Our water glasses were always full and our dishes were cleared promptly from the table. The veal osso buco ravioli was DELICIOUS!!!! 👍🏼👍🏼 As for my entree, I ordered the sea scallops with corn and mashed potatoes. 👎🏼 Dessert came along with my entree, not pleased. 😞 The meal was very expensive for...
