We ate on the terrace which is very compact, butt the view of the River is nice. Our server was very good, knowledgeable and fun. My steak was excellent, although a little over cooked and the servings are generous, salads were very fresh and veggies were delicious. A great place for good food and pleasant dining.

I stopped into the Little Rein on my first evening in San Antonio, new to the neighborhood. It was impossible to get into the hotel restaurant since I had no reservation, and I went walking the River Walk in search of a meal. Little Rein is right on the river and I was lucky to get a table for one... More

Sat on the deck overlooking the river (tiered level seating) Great steaks cooked to perfection, portions generous, our server was wonderful. It was an amazing evening

A group of us from a business meeting ate the Little Rhein. Service was good and very attentive. The applewood bacon wrapped quail legs were phenomenal. I had a center cut petit filet mignon which was so flavorful and tender. The sides weren't anything memorable. Overall, a very nice dinner but it was quite pricey. Nice atmosphere and good for... The location is good and the outdoor area by the Riverwalk is excellent if the temperature is comfortable. The upper patio area where we were seated was not so good. The service was adequate, but just average. The steaks were very mediocre and lacked any kind of seasoning. Prices compare with very high end steakhouses but quality and service does... More

I have spied this restaurant on my last couple of visits to the River Walk. I was entertaining business clients from Mexico, so decided to give it a try. Overall, it was "okay". While the patio seating provides a nice view of the River Walk, the night we were there, the outside guests were a bit loud. I found the... More

A local cabbie recommended my wife and I try this quaint steakhouse located on the river walk. It was fabulous and the service is great!

I hadn't had a steak in two months and this was worth the wait!!! The petite was the perfect size and as tender as velvet! The Twice baked potato was out of this world. I brag about this place to everyone. The service was great and the variety outstanding. I'd go back in a minute. The wine list was ample... More

We ate here on a Friday night and it was delicious! It is very easy to get to and it is beautiful to sit outside! We celebrated my daughter's birthday and they brought her a dessert on a big plate that said Happy Birthday in chocolate. They were so kind. Our kids loved the kid's meal (chicken tenders)it's definitely big... More
