This was an amazing restaurant find. Small and quaint off the riverwalk. Staff was very friendly, even gave my son free choice of dessert to celebrate graduation. Skip the "chain steakhouses" and visit this gem! Crab appetizer was devine...The wine menu was impressive, and the steaks were perfect.

Can't begin to share the great food and drink we had. But first let me describe the antigue stone house and terrace that sits rihght on the River Walk next to La Villita (another must-see) Cool stones, a fireplace, lots of photos and lace curtains. But definitely not a "girly " place. The steaks are superb and cooked to perfection... More

Had dinner with my boss and a co-worker just this past Sunday. The food was fantastic but what sets the restaurant apart is the service!!! Our server's name was Lewis. He was funny, attentive and very well versed in the menu. We are, should I say, "lively" people. He was awesome and we will return. We will, of course, insist... More

We saw this unique German restaurant as we took the barge tour on the River Walk of San Antonio. We decided to walk back to this site on the hill overlooking the River Walk. I have been to the Rhein River while in Germany so it seemed like a good place to try. However, once we were seated and looked... More

This little quiet and quaint piece of history is far from a family oriented restaurant to bring the kids. Their menu was limited as well as pricey....the kids menu was literally one choice. Every item was "a la carte"! My husband & I would totally recommend this as the perfect Date Night place away from the kids. We sat inside,... More

In order to truly get the full river walk experience in San Antonio one must make sure to find an awe inspiring place to sit and enjoy the ambiance as a whole. The Little Rhein Steakhouse provides a quaint historic atmosphere with an excellent menu choice and amazing customer service. I thought that the prices would be outrageous (as steakhouses... More

We went there with a friend for dinner. We sat by the riverwalk and it was very nice. We ate later in the evening so it was not too hot. I don't think I would want to eat inside as there was a heavy smell of grease. The three of us had steaks and they were all cooked as requested.... More

Excellent to get away from the hoards of loud people and kids! The food was good, but honestly, I've had $15 steaks that tasted as good as their $48 steak. Trip advisor Price Ranges are off. There is nothing on the menu less than $50 unless you order just a side. New York Strip was $48, baked potato another $8.... More

Best steaks and atmosphere. This is tucked into a corner of the Riverwalk and not in a popular area so its not too busy. Its expensive but totally worth it.

While accompanying my wife at a convention, I used Trip Advisor reviews to decide this would be a good choice for dinner. It ended up being our favorite meal of the entire week. We dined on the terraced patio overlooking the Riverwalk. The service was superb and the food was fantastic. My absolute favorite part of the meal was the... More
