We love this place. The food has always been a cut above. We had the escargot and the crab stuffed avocado for appetizers . Then we had bone-in ribeye and petite mignon with shrimp scampi . Absolutely wonderful. The sticky toffee pudding with ice cream is out of this world. Our waiter was Ray and he was very friendly and... More

Got the bone in rib-eye and it was fantastic. Also the sides where very good. We got the twice baked potatoes for the tables and I got a Cesar salad it was great as well. Got the bread pudding for dessert and it was fantastic as well.

After reading all of the great reviews from other visitors, I was so pumped to be going to one of the oldest restaurants in San Antonio. From the outside, it looked absolutely adorable and the inside had such a rustic elegance to it. As we were seated outside, my boyfriend and I were pleased with our view - among the... More

The weather cooperated on the evening in May that we ate at Little Rhein's. We sat out on the patio overlooking the river. It was a beautiful balmy evening. Mariachi music drifted on the lazy breeze. We started with escargot, had salads, and then cut into the best steaks we've had in ages! Mine was a filet mignon, my co-worker... More

We had the filet and it was so tender and delicious. The atmosphere and wait staff was wonderful. We enjoyed our visit so much.

Had dinner here one night when in the area on business. No doubt one of the best things about this restaurant is the location on the Riverwalk, although I did choose to eat inside. The inside is very cool, with lots to look at. Service was a little slow, and the food was good, but not amazing. I had a... More

I had asked a local San Antonio waiter for a good place for a good Texas steak that was not a franchise. He suggested the Little Rhein Steakhouse, but he didn't let us know that it was an expensive place and that we should dress better than the casual wear that we had one. We were the first people there... More

If I am being honest, I picked this restaurant because it was cute, and the patio along the Riverwalk was really nice. It looked romantic, and cute, and was well reviewed so I made the reservation. I wasn't prepared for how amazing the food was going to be. The ribeye was so flavorful and perfect that my husband and I... More

We ate here for my birthday dinner while in town. Made last minute reservations and had a nice table on the balcony overlooking the river. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, and checked back multiple times to make sure everything was to our liking. The steaks were well cooked and the sides, potatoes au gratin and french fries, were both... More
