Although the ambiance and service of this restaurant near the Alamo were very good the food was grossly overpriced, and not worth what was served. $48 for a steak may not be much for an oil-rich Texan, but for me I will never go there again. Even the wine and salad were too costly for me.

The meal I had at The Little Rhein Steakhouse on the San Antonio river walk was excellent. The only thing I can say is that the Petite Filet was very well prepared, exactly as I ordered it but I was amazed how big it was for a Petite Filet. it was about 10 Oz's. Generally, whenever I have ordered a... More

Our concierge recommended this steak house over the larger, more popular one. Were we ever bamboozled. The service was disappointing and uninformed. The prices were high. [as it turned out, they weren't different than the other 'uptown' steakhouses in San Antonio) The steaks were OK, but nothing worth their $40 price tag. If you want steak, do not go here.

Business trip that I asked the receptionist at my hotel to recommend a great steakhouse and they sent is here..service was great atmosphere was also great but the food was overpriced..two steaks with drinks and salad was $190 without gratuity.... I would be OK with it but I felt it not only should have been bigger portions but much tastier....... More

Food of good class however to a price on high level. Price is on the high end and does not do justice to the food.

We've eaten at the Little Rhein before, but I have to agree with another reviewer that it's not like it used to be. First, many menu items are overpriced. But let's go through our experience step-by-step. The dark bread they serve is delicious. By why do restaurants serve butter that is so hard that it can't be spread? You have... More

I have eaten at The Little Rhein Steakhouse more than a dozen times over the last 20 years and until last night had always been extremely pleased with the experience. Last night was as exception to past experience. There was a good crowd upon arrival, but not over crowded at all. Had to wait 10 minutes for a waiter, while... More

The food was delicious, the service was even better. It was pouring down rain so we sat on the covered porch. Definitely an experience not to be missed!

Went here for a special occasion. When travelling we like a more local restaurant to get a feel for the area and we were not disappointed. The location is easy near the Riverwalk and near all the hotels. Its in a nice little cottage with lots of history. Now the food is Steak, Steak and more Steak. The offer a... More

In a quaint area just off downtown, this restaurant is in a historic building that is really cool. Great service and very good food, its a place you don't want to miss. Great beverage selection as well as food. Probably should make a reservation as its not too big, but that is part of the charm.
