I was told about Boudro's while riding in an airport shuttle van to my hotel on the riverwalk last May 2014. I was taking a walking tour of the riverwalk and saw Bourdo's, so I thought I would try it. I had the Blackened Prime Rib...it was great! Cooked just right (medium), loaded with great seasoning, wonderful roasted vegetables. I... More

This is a great place to go for a margarita and guacamole made at the table. The quail appetizer is great. Many times they are so busy that the main course isn't hot when it arrives. There are much better places for steak in SA. 3 people had 3 different main courses--none were winners.

This quaint river side restaurant has been a consistent favorite of ours for over 10 years. The menu choices are numerous, and the quality & flavors are excellent. Even though it's in the tourist zone, it is a destination cafe. We think the Seared Tuna or other seafood are best. Atmosphere is cozy and a bit noisy, but not too... More

I certainly can't give this restaurant bad reviews because the food was good. But there was nothing spectacular about it. The waiter seemed to know a tremendous amount about wine, but not as much about the food. When asked about substitutions, he made a little joke about it saying they would sell me whatever I wanted. The filet was not... More

We arrived at Boudro's at around 6 PM on a Saturday night, and were seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We ordered the table side guacamole and the prickly pear magaritas. The reviews before me were right, these are the two things to start out with! The fresh guacamole was to die for and... More

We had eaten at Boudro's on a previous trip and so wanted to return this time if for nothing else than the great guacamole (made table side). We were not disappointed on this visit other than we got the last reservation and the table was next to River Walk entrance. Still we were fortunate to be inside on a hot... More

Received a recommendation from a friend to dine here. Found the food only average if that. I tried the restaurants specialty, the blackened prime rib, and was very disappointed. It was obviously not fresh and an item the waiters were supposed to push cause our waiter gave a big sales pitch about how good it was. He was very wrong!... More

Was with a group looking for a late dinner after the start of a meeting. Only availability was outside with small round tables in the stifling humidity. While trying to fit everyone around two tables, one of the waiters GRABBED ME BY THE ARM and told me that my seat can't have any part of it on the sidewalk. Was... More

My wife and I ate here on a recommendation from a local. We both had a nice dinner. The scallop app and the Flan for desert was the best part of the meal. We sat outside which was a little uncomfortable because the line to get in stopped right in front of our table, and the birds and ducks are... More

I like to consider myself somewhat of a guacamole connoisseur....okay actually I can just eat a LOT of guacamole...Anyway, this was certainly one of the best I've tried in my life. You MUST order it if you dine here. For lunch I had the Portobello Tostada and it was wonderful! Tasted as good as it looked. Definitely stop here for... More
