Awesome Brunch

This is one of our special occasion dining spots because the food is consistently good and the service is excellent. We love their brunches and think they are worth the cost given the great variety of quality food that's included. There is something for everyone.

Wow. Las Canarias is easily one of the best restaurants within which I have ever dined. The food is simply amazing, and not one dish I have had there has been a let down. I have never been so blown away by the savoriness of food. The breakfast/brunch buffet is out of this world awesome, and dinners are tremendous. The... More

My friend and I stopped in for the pre dinner bar menu before a concert at the Empire. The food was very good and the margarita was even better. It has Riverwalk access, so it can be part of an evening of cruising the Riverwalk with friends.

We had breakfast there during our stay. Although our server was quite nice and did a very good job, other staff was not so helpful. Coffee was lukewarm, oatmeal was mushy. My husband enjoyed his omelet. Overall, too expensive for a mediocre experience.

It is never easy to find great food an d service when traveling alone. I find that being a single female with a book tends to get me mediocre service and generally ignored. Not here! The service was fantastic and the food...exquisite! My server was helpful with suggestions, complimented me on my choice of wine and encouraged me to relax... More

We stayed here and had breakfast here. There is an interior dining room, but we selected the outside raised patio overlooking the riverwalk. One of the best environments and views I have ever had for a meal. The food was just wonderfully prepared. We had the Chilaquiles ala Mexicana and the Classic San Antonio Breakfast. What a grea time with... More

Sunday brunch at Las Canarias is a must-do for us every time we come to San Antonio. The service is wonderful and the buffet variety is very good. Today the prime rib was out of this world. The usual offerings of fresh fruit, baked goods, omelette station and variety was outstanding as always. Banana foster is just that special treat.... More

I am not able to comment on the food, because we were so disgusted by the treatment by restaurant manager, we walked out. Rude, blaming his employees, not being accountable. We had called earlier to confirm breakfast, bypassed several other restaurants on the way there only to be told, that breakfast was over (even though it was 30 minutes earlier... More
