When is valet parking not availale? Call ahead to find out.

The restaurant is inside of a hotel on the river walk. Parking at the river walk is hard to find. Traffic on a Sat night any time, much less during Christmas, around the river walk is very slow and congested. Plan ahead and call to make sure the hotel will valet park for the restaurant. Having had a lovely lunch on the river we went "simple" for dinner, opting for a bottle of Catena Malbec from the excellent wine list and two appetizers, a savory Pork Belly Pastrami dish and a nice variety of cheeses with the Artisanal Cheese Board. Even though we were eating light, the service was impeccable as was our riverside table... More

Las Canarias has earned many accolades over the years including one of the places to visit in your lifetime. I will let you know that "one of the places to visit in your lifetime" is probably being too kind. The restaurant is high end. Expensive. I had crab fritters and a pork steak with bacon. It was pretty good but... More

I went with a large group and the restaurant was extremely accommodating. After telling us there would be an hour or more wait, they were able to get us in immediately. The service was great, food exceeded expectations and the location is lovely. It is somewhat expensive for a brunch.

I had breakfast here with my wife and kid twice during our stay at the Riverwalk. Antonio was great as he was very accommodating to our baby needs. The food and coffee was great. From the French toast to the huevos rancheros. The view at certain tables is also great, you get to see the river. Would definitely return here.

Went to this restaurant based on the ratings. We had looked at the menu and we're going to order from it until we saw the buffet. Cooked to order omelettes, 3 selections of other egg dishes, very tasty fresh fruit, breakfast meats, breads and imported jams, juice and coffee included. Our only disappointment was the waiter who was having to... More

Staff seemed very focused on being snobby to create atmosphere. Neither good nor ambiance warranted that attitude (does it ever?). Considering how many amazing choices there are on the Riverwalk, give this a miss.

Visited Christmas Day for a holiday buffet. Super expensive but bargain buffet stuff - salty prime rib, the worst shrimp & grits ever, and lots of dried out entrees that spent too much time on the heat trays. Salad bar was nice. There was supposed to be oysters on the half, but they were never restocked during our hour+ visit.... More
