Good time in SA

Chose this restaurant for our anniversary due to high ratings and it was extremely good. All of the food was great (appetizers, main course and dessert - - my wife said her filet was the best she has ever had, and she's had a few!), and the ambience was fantastic (we sat outside next to the... read more

My husband and we're walking the beautiful San Antonio Riverwalk looking for just the right place for a wonderful upscale dinner. We were pausing and reading the posted menus of several wonderful choices. But when my husband saw the Chateau braid on the menu here, we had to stop! The service was incredible, the wine was wonderful but the Chateau... More

My husband and I love Las Canarias! The food is always special, both delicious and beautifully presented. Dishes are prepared with an elegant flair and the service is impeccable. Ambiance is classic old world style. This is our favorite special occasion restaurant. We have enjoyed several anniversaries and held a bridal shower there. Event staff were easy to work with... The food at Las Canarias is very good but it's actually eclipsed by the truly outstanding service. The staff are both friendly and professional. Service is prompt but never rushed. I like the atmosphere because it's one of the quietest downtown restaurants, with a nice view of the Riverwalk. When they have a guitarist the music is lovely. A great... More

We walked from the Holiday Inn to try this place out for breakfast! It was amazing. My husband had the buffet, which included the mexican style breakfast he was craving, and I had the blueberry and lemon curd pancakes. I would highly recommend both.

We walked I or Las Canarias on Friday night with no reservation (or the dreads dress code of another restaurant) and we were seated right away by the window overlooking the Riverwalk. The food was very, very good. I had the chef's 3-course tasting special, which was wonderful. My,husband had the seafood paella, which he said was the best he... More

We had buffet breakfast here that came with our bed and breakfast package which is well worth it considering the price.

We ate here for lunch, about 12:30, solely based on the positive reviews of the place. Only one other table of 4 were eating there, which was surprising. We were seated right next to them, which was slightly awkward as the whole place was empty. The Food: My fiance ordered a mushroom pasta dish, which was very good. I ordered... More

I had just two starters: luscious butternut squash soup and southwest Caesar salad. Both perfect, with a glass of excellent Cotes de Rhone,,and the service was friendly and expert.

We ate here on our last night in San Antonio (3 nights) We had stayed here on our first night but ate elsewhere and decided to come back as we had seen the menu while staying at the Omni. Well that was a great decision. The food was just perfect; Roasted Butternut squash soup was to die for! The best... More
