Yummy, cheesy burger!!

Worth the long wait lines! A great find if you're a tourista, this is where the locals come for a tasty burger. Service is nice and friendly, but it's a crowded place. We'll be back again and again!

I've been going to Chris Madrid's since my college days. After much time has passed, I went back to CM's for dinner recently. It's really good food if you are into hamburgers and nachos and a great hangout atmosphere. There is not an expansive menu here, but if burgers and nachos are your thing, please try Chris Madrid's. Try the... More

Atmosphere great, burger huge, needed a little more seasoning. Fries scrumptious. Service was fast and accurate. Didn't get a Margarita, but they looked yummy.

Simple recepie for success - a very delicious burger with its own flare. They started out as a little stand and now they are a very big stand - but still follow the same formula. Family run - good eats

These were some of the best hamburgers I have eaten. They were big and juicy. The homemade fries were hard to stop eating. Pretty packed. May have a long wait but sure with it.

Ok, no one is going to tell you this is the best burger ever. It is good, for sure, as is all the rest on the menu. The main thing about Chris Madrid's is laid back, sitting on big picnic tables (inside and out), lively dive atmosphere and enjoying a good meal with friends and family. The prices are decent... This is my absolute favorite burger in Texas -- both the Cheddar Cheezy and the Tostada Burger (with refried beans and fritos) are classics -- add jalapenos for good measure. (The macho nachos are the bomb, too.) Every time I go to SA, I have to eat at this SA institution. An authentic classic untainted by success). I break burgers... More

A little off the beaten path but great burgers. The building looks like a dive but it's nice inside with a large patio out back. The regular size burgers are big enough to share. Come hungry if you go with the "macho" burger. The fries were good too but the family size order was too big for us. Everyone was... More

Go for the tostada bean burger and the mango margaritas. Whoever thought of putting corn chips and delicious refried beans on an already excellent cheeseburger is a genius. We didn't want the burger to end! Dress it up with salsa and pico de gallo if you like or enjoy it in its natural state.

This was amazing! The restaurant was recommended to me by a friend and I paid a visit out of sheer curiosity and took some friends with me. They all agreed that it was worth the trip! Yes, you can't eat there too often because of the clogged arteries that may result, however, for a good cheat meal or a special... More
