Casual coffee and pastry place

I meet friends here for coffee from time to time. It's a pleasant small eatery in a strip center on Highway 281 near Thousand Oaks. They have a variety of pastries, including several types of big NYC bagels and sweet rolls. They also serve a good variety of teas and coffees. It's a small place with... read more

Had a bagel craving and visited The Bagel Factory recently. The store appeared to be downsized. They no longer have breakfast sandwiches?? Wow, they were so good and now they're gone. They also had less inventory, none of my favorite serrano cream cheese? What's going on? The everything bagel was good, the raspberry chipolte cream cheese was ok. The bagel... More

Best NYC style bagel to be found outside of NYC!! Chewy, soft, and flavorful. Little pricey for my taste, but they are tasty!

WOOOOW!! "The Everything Bagel" with cream cheese.... Dear god! Quite possibly the BEST bagel I have ever had. Looking forward to going back to this place to try other bagels AND I think I saw a sign about chicken salad so I need to come back here for lunch and try that too. I cannot recommend enough for the bagels... More

I just moved from Killeen Texas and left my favorite bagel place, Bite The Bagel. One of the staff there told me to look up this place. I went there with three other friends. All the bagels were tasty and I had a Bagelache for the first time (sausage in a roll) and it was delicious. The facility was bright... More

There are a great varity of cream cheeses to choose from along with the bagles I would caution to get it toasted because my untoasted bagel did not taste fresh but my girlfriend's toasted cinnamon rasin bagel was awesome

Being from New York and living in Texas, the Bagel Factory is a welcoming sight. They have every bagel imaginable, with your choice of the standard cream cheese or a sandwich. Their coffee was strong, great tasting. I will be at this place frequently. A true taste of home.

This is a chance to get something other than the norm taco. There is a variety of bagels and you can get bagels with sausage inside. I like the chocolate chip bagels. Lastly, they serve Louisiana Community coffee.

Many varieties offered some of which (e.g., Jalapeño & Chedder) probably can not be found outside of Texas. Good selection of cream cheese as well. This is MUCH better than the foil wrapped stuff you will find at the supermarket. I usually buy the baker's dozen and then build my own treats at home with lox, thinly sliced red onion... More
