Amazing steaks

The ambiance is fantastic. We had a private room for a family gathering. Service was perfect and our servers were extremely kind and our glasses were never empty. Being that this is a steakhouse, their choices of meats were second to none. The pork chop for two is to die for, but keep in mind... read more

This restaurant was below the norm for the chain and steakhouses in this price range. My 10 oz filet was almost in two pieces with a tear or cut from the top about 2/3 through the steak and should have been rejected in purchasing or by the chef and converted to another purpose. The mushrooms stuffed with seafood items were... More

I am a sucker for a good steak and this place is a MUST!!! The service was out of this world and the Chateaubriand was AMAZING! We of course had it med-rare and everything was beyond perfect. The Jazz piano from the bar was just a smidge too loud but other than that I will always eat here when in... More

The ambience is relaxed with a slight touch towards the formal. The appetizers where very good, we tuna and steak Appetizer. The quality was good. The main courses where very good and the suggested wine pairing was also good. Their signature dish is large enough to feed 2 people so ask before ordering two. It does not compare with the... More

We went on a Sunday which also, happened to Mothers Day. We called in advance to confirm that they would (as usual) have half price wine in the bar tables. Got there, no,half price. The waitress brought over a manager who basically said tough. Portions are HUGE, so unless you're a 19 year old linebacker, split everything. The pork chops were... More

You don't go to Perry's on a budget. Our dinner for four was about $400ish with 15% tip. Our server, Craig, had the right balance of knowledge and personality and was very attentive at just the right times. We were celebrating a 30th birthday and we didn't let that stop us from enjoying the night. Appetizers, small splits of champagne,... More

Yea the steaks are wonderful and they are nicely prepared as well as the sides. But the pork chop! 32 oz of the finest pork you have ever tasted and if you are smart, you will eat a quarter of it and take the rest for lunch and dinner the rest of the week. This is a very upscale atmosphere... More

For over $150 we had a better meal and experience at Bohanan's in Downtown San Antonio. We walked in around 5PM and the place was very dark, like walking into a dungeon. Wife ate the cherry pepper calamari and stated that it was very spicy hot. So she removed the peppers and had a few more. I had some type... More

Last Friday my husband and I decided to try the pork chop lunch special ($13.95 for a "lunch cut" pork chop). I was hesitant because I'm not much on pork as I've experienced mostly dry, tasteless cuts of pork. But looking at the various pics of the plate, I was curious. It looked like a 3-bone high chop. It was... More
