Tanks is one of those gems that become your favorite quickly. If you love East Coast pizza and grinders this is the place to go. Owners and staff treat you like family. Bring your pooch, have a brew and some fab pizza- service is as good as the food.

Read about this place in the news paper and they were right! The calzones are amazing!!! The service was just fine, not sure why the bad reviews. I love the building as well, must be old historic district renovated. Can't wait to go back!

Service is so slow. But when you have one person as the wait staff. One person in the back. No cashier. Saw one guy leave to deliver an order. You would think. If you can't handle the in house guest. Why would you do delivery. Saw several people just waiting for service and to check out. More likely well not... More

I had sausage calzone that was fantastic! The dough was just perfect! Great marinera sauce to dip it in as well. Side salad was a generous portion. Husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs were outstanding! On the way home my husband and I were already agreeing that we would be back. Waitress was attentive and friendly on our visit tonight.... More

Our first & only visit to Tanks Pizza was a BIG let down. The pizza was mediocre, stale, burned & chintzy. Tanks overcharged us for an inferior meal & they charged us for beer that we DID NOT drink. I submit as an alternative Peter Piper's. 2 weeks ago, I had lunch at the Peter Pipers (Commerce & Gen. McMullen).... More

My family and I tried Tank's today after doing some Christmas shopping and I was very pleased. Being in the military I have traveled all over and very seldom do I feel the need to write a review for a restaurant. But I felt after visiting Tank's the need to make sure everybody knows how wonderful this place is. The... More

I’ve visited several times to try different menu items. I can honestly say everything I’ve eaten was excellent. The pizza dough & sauce is great. The calzone is a favorite as is everything I've tried so far!

I was a bit nervous as I walked in to the restaurant. It was almost empty at the time so I was not sure what to do or how to order. Quickly a waitress noticed my distress and sat me at a table. She helped me through the ordering process and was overall a great server. (Cute too!) Food: Salad... More

As noted by the previous reviewer the place is dead. No customers and only empty tables. Food is not fresh, and the whole vibe of the place is really dreadful. Look for some other place to eat, this joint is not worth your time.
