Tried the spinach and mushroom tamales and also two desserts came to $23. The price was a bit high but it was great to know that there would be no meat mixups or worries that vegetarian people sometimes go through at regular restaurants. The staff was very nice and the peanut butter cheesecake bar was heaven! The zucchini bread with... More

Overall, it was pretty good, went for dinner, our first time. PROS Very friendly staff Not too long of a wait for food despite warnings on menu that each item is freshly prepared and patience is appreciated. Very flavorful. Unpretentious, not too hippie. Fair prices. CONS Most food overspiced (but good for sinuses). Kale chips substituted for tortilla chips in... More

You must try the vegan nachos or the garlic enchiladas. The cheese is cashew, and the "meat" is garbanzo beans. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face! #NomNom

I lived in San Antonio for 8 years and never knew about this place. Shame on me! My husband, 14 yo son, and I joined our church on the Daniel Fast earlier this year and have been amazed at what you learn from just listening to your body, (i.e., mine doesn't readily enjoy dairy or yeast.) So when I was... More

My sister was visiting recently and has had special dietary needs. I took her here so that she could be able to order anything on the menu and eat without any challenges. She loved the place. It's small, cozy, bustling during lunch. We ordered the daily special, which is usually the best value on the menu. We ate every bite.... More

As a regular meat and potatoes devotee this little place requires a slow-paced adaptation. There's no meat or cheese, and no gluten served here. We wanted to discover some tasty bites that would be good for any palate. This is a small place that's almost hidden just off Broadway past Taco Garage heading North. The nachos were pretty good. The... More

The tiny board by the roadside proclaims "The number 1 Vegan restaurant in San Antonio". I have to say that it is one of the best vegan places in the US. The table had several brands of Stevia packet instead of artificial chemicals. There were even drinks sweetend with stevia and for the first time in over two years, I... More

Coming from Europe, I was amazed to find a vegan restaurant here in SA. I mean SA is the "unhealthy food addiction" capital of the world. This place was clean and the waiter was friendly. The food was delicious and a great place for introducing veganism to typical junk food eaters. If you're a 90-100% raw foodie - then this... More
