Good bagels and coffee

This is a decent place to grab a bagel and coffee in the morning. Staff is friendly and prices reasonable. They have egg bagel sandwiches.

I noticed this place one night while we were out and about in town and thought that I would stop in the next morning. When I went, although there was someone inside moving around, it was not open for business.

We found Big Apple Bagels with the help of Yelp. We ordered a cinnamon sugar bagel with honey cinnamon cream cheese, a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese, and an omelet on a plain bagel. The bagels were the best we have had to date. In addition, the staff was friendly and helpful. It was so good, we came back... More

We stayed at one of the many hotels on the Riverwalk and wanted a quick and easy place to grab breakfast so we could begin touring. We found this delightful, clean, efficient spot on our way to the Alamo. They even had a $1 coupon on some of the tourist guides and maps. They had a wide selection of fresh... More

After an unpleasant experience at my hotel's restaurant, its manager directed me to Big Apple Bagels, where she enjoys breakfast. I was very pleased with the quality of the bagels and bagel sandwiches and coffee. Some of the bagel varieties were new to me, involving various cheese and herb combinations. I ate there every morning during my stay in San... More

Sitting here right now enjoying a bagel with lox and cream cheese. Price is good, staff is friendly and it's just a quick walk two blocks from the Riverwalk.

Restaurant was convenient to our hotel. We spent $18 on breakfast for two. (Prices for dining is steep in the River Walk tourist district. this is a moderate tab.) The oat bagel, toasted with cinnamon - honey cream cheese is fresh, delicious and filling. Some of the best sausage in a blanket that I've had. Very casual, smallish dining area.

I lived the variety! Great service! Very delicious!! Nicely placed between my hotel and the down town attractions, not that expensive so it worked perfectly for friends that were on a budget.

Both their bagels and their muffins are delicious! I just like their bagels with one of the many flavored cream cheeses. I used to take the tin can with the mini muffins to the Memory Care Unit that my mother-in-law was in for a while. They were such a hit. BAB makes many different flavors of both their large and... Excellent bagels, superior coffee, and service with a big ol' Texan smile. Quick breakfasts don't get much better than this.
