Stopped by the restaurant last night (Saturday) and were hoping for a nice Italian meal. We were informed by the waiter that they were out of osso bucco which was no problem because neither of us want it. My wife ordered a veal dish and I ordered a linguine dish. After placing out orders the waiter returned to inform me... More

Nice wine list; menu is varied and very interesting; good use of venue and atmosphere. Worth a tryout!

My favorite dish of all time is Osso Bucco & it just happened to be the nights featured special! My hubby had the lamb. We started with the radicchio salad with Gorgonzola & walnuts & then the scallops for our 2nd starter was also delicious. Our server, Adriano, picked our desserts- incredible! The beautiful night, the wine, the food -... More

My wife and I accidentally discovered this neighborhood gem when we were looking for a different restaurant in the same neighborhood. We have been so impressed with the chef, the food and the service that we have been back probably 10 times in the past three months. Although they don't take reservations, if you get there around 6pm you will... More

An experienced and talented chef preparing authentic Italian cuisine await you, along with a great wait staff. The menu is limited and changes weekly, but after a dozen visits I have had uniformly excellent dining at this small trattoria. Very upscale interior but limited seating. And the pricing makes this the best deal I town. Well curated wine list featuring... More

I just returned from a wonderful lunch at Rossini's Italian Bistro. I have eaten there before and have always enjoyed it. The service was excellent, and the food was wonderful. Two of my friends had the flounder and reported that it was excellent. One had the tilapia and said it was also excellent. I had the farfalle and spinach which... More

We dined at this Castle Hills strip-mall restaurant with two other couples on a Saturday evening in mid-July, at our friends' recommendation. We had advanced reservations for dinner as they only have a dozen tables. The restaurant temperate was extremely warm, as though their AC unit was not functioning properly and all of us were very uncomfortable throughout our dinner.... More

This is a small family owned and run italian restaurant -- upper scale but not so formal that you cannot go in casual. The chef owner does his own menu and cooking and it is delilcious. I recommend the homemade ravioli and my husband loves the pork chop or steak. It is not downtown but is worth the drive if... More

We arrived at Rossini after a terrible evening at the River Walk (too crowded and chaotic). Found this little Italian bistro and hoped for a nice glass of wine and some good food. We got there around 8:45pm and were seated. This is a very small restaurant, with about 10 tables total. The waitress was not friendly and seemed like... More

This is absolutely our favorite restaurant in San Antonio. The sauces are wonderful, particular those used for the beef filet. We have never been disappointed when trying different dishes. Everything is just great, and, a fantastic wine menu. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it's just a very cozy little Italian Bistro.
