This restaurant remains consisently excellent! With some management changes and a planned name-change, you might think that this establishment was headed down the trail of restaurants that devolved into just another steak and fries place but the ownership is committed to maintaining the same French flair. San Antonians, let's patronize this place every chance we get to make sure it... More

The atmosphere here is very much like the bistros in Belgium and France: stylish, professional service, food that manages to be both elegant and comforting, and a wide choice of beverages. - note the Belgium monk beers. We usually go for lunch and I can personally rave about the mussels and frites, steak and frites, any one of the soups... More

Food was excellent and service better. Noise level low so that we could sit and drink very good and inexpensive wine while we dinned slowly on well prepared food. Had an excellent shrimp coctail followed by a steak with fries - best fries in San Antonio. Wife had mussels which were prepared to perfection. Other couple shared a red fish... More

The cuisine is refreshingly French in a Mexican food town. I have enjoyed meals there several times and have also hosted a private party for 30 people. The service is attentive and prices reasonable.

I went to the Olmos Park Bistro today with friends for Sunday Brunch. The word is out that the Eggs Benedict are devine, and it is true. I ordered mine medium, and they were cooked to perfection, which is unusual. The french fries were also very nice. My companions had Eggs Benedict with lobster sauce, and another had the skirt... This was our second visit to the Olmos Park Bistro and we enjoyed the first so much, this was a birthday treat. We got off to a great start and loved the appetizer so much we ordered a second round of the selected Canadian oysters. The grilled shrimp rosemary were very good on our first visit, and they were just... More

What a delight this restaurant is! The French cuisine is authentic, consistent, reasonably-priced, well-presented and delicious. One of the owners, a native of France and formerly of L'Etoile( a beloved French restaurant that closed a few years ago), is ever-present and dedicated to the success of Bistro Olmos Park. The chef, also from France, is as passionate about creating genuinely... More
