Arrived from the airport after a delayed flight and only a breakfast sandwich before boarding the plane at 6:15...at 3:30 PM found this oasis and enchiladas that nearly saved me from extinction. Service was great and even came with tips on where to shop!

If you wanna immerse yourself in a big-city type of atmosphere than go to this establishment! It's very nice inside, I was impressed by the beautiful wood furniture and tables, they play cool music videos on the TVs above the bar and have a HUGE selection if beverages. Adjacent to the river walk, this place is always catering to diverse... More

Craft cocktails, solid selection of beer. The food is AWESOME. Try the fries and hangar steak salad. Two of my personal faves. They have really good lunch specials daily, check their website/facebook before you go. Atmosphere is great, service is very good. Be very clear with the hostess if you intend to eat, drink or both. Apparently there is separate... More

We stopped in here during a downtown San Antonio river walk kind of day. I was really looking forward to the atmosphere and the history of the place, not really expecting much from the food or drinks. Despite my low expectations, we had a delicious meal and even better drinks to accompany it. I had the potato tacos and my... More

Someone recommended this place to me for a beer. It's excellent. They have a seriously long bar, and the beer selection is very good. Try the Texas IPAs.

An historic building on the Riverwalk, with plaster covering the limestone walls, tin ceilings, and a neat old bar. A pretty decent local beer selection, and a nicer place for a drink compared to most of the watering holes/tourist traps on the Riverwalk.

It was a refreshing breath of cool air to step inside The Esquire..The citrus drinks are made from fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and they were delish! Just a great place to eat or just have a libation!

Though this was not what we expected, it was still good. We went here for dinner and it was dark inside, the food was not your typical tavern food, and it was very expensive for smaller portions. But, that being said it was a good time, fun to try something a little bit different, and the food was good. FYI,... More
