Have been to many Brazilian steakhouses. This one is the best. Not only is the meal fantastic . This is the best of all franchise locations in atmosphere and service.

I've heard good things about this chain for years, but last night was the first time I visited one. Wish I hadn't waited so long. I was impressed. The service was excellent. The salad bar was impressive. Several meat choices - sirloin and lamb were my favorites. Sausage was good as well. Little disappointed in the chicken and pork, but... More

I'll start with the pro's: service was very good,Sarah was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The salad bar however left little to be desired, everything looked stale and it didn't taste great, but I told myself at 44 bucks the meat must be amazing, aaaaand then came the meat, too chewy and not very tasty, I dont think the quality... Ate early on a Saturday night with adult family of four. Best brazilian steakhouse experience we have had (and we have been to a lot!). Service was outstanding. Meat was wonderful. Salad bar was exactly what was expected. We were excited to have the wine angel do her acrobatics to go and get our bottle of wine, as apparently we... More

We took a customer here during NACE conference. The meat was great except for what they passed off a filets. I though tough and too much sinew. Lamb was fantasic, but only offered once? I would not go here without a group of folks to ear.

While the fee was not cheap, you certainly get your money's worth! The steak and other meats were top notch. The salad bar was great, though I wouldn't say it had as many options as I would have like to see. The bread they normally serve is even gluten free and excellent! I just wish they would have some good... More

Very nice restaurant, often crowded, good meat cuts. Sometimes they tend to offer too much chicken or sausages, but overall it was very good. I was not in the mood for meat that night, as were my companions, and opted for the buffet. I fixed myself a great plate of smoked salmon with arugula, mozzarella and swiss cheese with crusty... We are at Texas De Brazil in San Antonio. The Gauchos who bring the meats are few and far between. I think we've been offered sausage 3 times. The lamb that I have requested twice did not come. I was finally offered some steak and they asked how I wanted it cooked. The medium rare was medium well and very... More

A group of six of us made reservations weeks in advance for dinner during a business meeting in San Antonio. Four of us had not been to a Brazilian style steakhouse before. We all enjoyed the experience and trying the various cuts that were brought around. I was surprised by how tender and tasty the Flank Steak was. We had... More

My wife and I visited Fago de Chao the last time we were in San Antonio. We decided to compare. We liked Texas de Brazil better. The atmosphere was nicer, the food was better (especially meats), and we were entertained by the acrobatic wine retriever. The dinners were also $5 a piece less than their competitor. We signed up for... More
