I went to Fogo de Chao in my last visit to San Antonio. Food the best, service ok, good price, location excellent.

I enjoyed my time and meal at Fogo De Chao. It is an interesting concept in dining. I did realize that I do enjoy traditional dining more and probably won't return to this establishment in the near future. I enjoy ordering my own cuts of meat directly for my plate. I was a bit confused about the concept and perhaps... More

You gotta be a meal LOVER, and if you are, you'll LOVE this place. Not since I visited Brazil in the 80's did I have such a wonderful assortment of perfectly cooked meats. And the side dishes, including the salad bar were over the top as well. A great dining experience...then go home and sleep it off. Good wine list... More

You gotta love a restaurant that has a big glass window at the front with fire and cooking meat! Service was EXCELLENT! Friendly, helpful, full of explanations on everything for cocktails, sides and preparation techniques. Personally, being swarmed by men bearing swords of meat is an amazing thing! You flip your little coaster to green and they appear out of... More

Had a dinner in one of the private rooms, the meal was absolutely amazing. Food was carved for you, onto your plate....be sure to let the server know the temperature you desire. Go for the tres leches cake it is amazing.

This restaurant was a meat lovers dream. Men walking around bringing all kinds and cuts of meat on a sword, which they slice at your table. A little heaven. They all had time to explain what their cut was and without exception, every single one was better than the last. Not a so-so meat in the crowd. Buffet for starters... More

Excellent food, service and drink as always. Must try a caiparina - very nice Brazilian drink, but you probably don't want more then 2. Salad bar is excellent - just don't stuff yourself. Overall great, just a little pricey. Better come here hungry.

Was in town for my husband's Air Force BMT graduation. It is pretty much a fancy buffet. Food is definitely great, not the best, but above par. I would gladly return, but at the price point I am likely to try another venue given that I am not a local to San Antonio, although there is one in my hometown... More

Don't snack before you go. Fogo de Chao has a two part menu service. First, is the salad bar which has a nice variety of salads and cheeses. Second, is the table side meat service. When you are ready for them to begin bringing the spitted meats you flip a little card that is red on one side and green... More

If you like meat, this is a great place. Quality of food very high but so was the price. It would have been nice to have been told up front what the cost of the meal would be but enjoyed it.
