Fogo de ChaoR (fo-go dee shoun), is an authentic Southern Brazilian steakhouse. In 1979, FogoR began sharing the gaucho way of preparing meat in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Today, our gaucho chefs still expertly grill each of our 16 cuts of meat and offer you continuous tableside service. Great grilled meats Brazilian style

This was a wonderful experience. The first course of cold/non-heated vegetables and salads, cheeses was top notch and an excellent start to the meal. Then came the meat selection. You are given a red/green disk [more meat or no more at this time]. You can try a variety of beef, pork, chicken... read more

Meats are fantastic, eat as much as you like. This is some of the best meats I have tried anywhere in the world, can recommend for that special meal, not your normal USA fast foods

This is a very expensive place, save the visit for an special ocassion. The gauchos come to your table with the cuts so you can decide the term and size of each portion. My favorite ones are picaña and rib eye, but try as many as you can, they all are really good. The salad bar is great, however I've... More

I highly recommend trying this place out. We have one where I live in Orlando, I always figured it was a "touristy" kind of place and I was wrong! Food was great and salad bar was amazing. Certainly a meat lovers dream. My favorite part was the bacon "chips" at the salad bar. I know it was for the top... More

The concept is great, the roasted meats are first rate, the salad bar is one of the best I have ever seen. A lot of operators could take a lesson from them. Great staff, very well trained, clean, crisp and smiling. What a treat!

We have dined twice at the FDC in Miami & have now enjoyed dining at the FDC in San Antonio. Both are upscale & absolutely fantastic, serving some of the finest cuisine on the planet & providing some of the most superior service to be found anywhere. It's expensive at lunch & dinner, but certainly much less at lunch with... More

Since the Fogo de Chao in SA is located at downtown, to find a parking space is a challenge. They do have a valet service for a reasonable amount that makes it easier for their guests (You have to have a reservation though). We had a reservation at 8:30pm but we were seated before that or almost around that time.... More

Food was awesome, service was awesome. My advice, don't eat all day before you go, wear your stretchy pants, and just drink water. $3 for a can of pop is just stupid. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 just for that. Oh, and they charge you another $3 for a refill. Really??? It's way over priced, but if you... More
