I tried this place being a lover of brazilian restaurants. Wide selection of meat in all you can eat formula. Excellent also the buffet with a good choice of salade or starters. Wide selection of wines - a bit expensive. Good service. I recommend this place as a good alternative to the eccellent tex mex or texan steakhouse style.

Fogo, and its many imitators, presents a questionably-authentic Brazilian endless parade of roasted meats. Beef, pork, lamb, chicken, sausage: it's all here. And it's quite tasty. Come hungry, and leave your vegan friends behind (although there's a nice salad bar, it probably won't satisfy most vegans, who will have to sit and watch you tear through the endless parade of... Our group enjoyed the experience but collectively decided that once is enough as it is just simply too much food. Service is outstanding with the exception of the waiter trying to push booze on a member who is a recovering alcoholic. Sad...ask once then shut up. Salad bar is spectacular - you don't need all the meat after filling up... More

The choice of food at the buffet was excellent and of the highest quality. We didn't actually eat the steak (couldn't manage it after all the food at the salad bar) but it looked delicious. We look forward to trying it when we are in San Antonio again.

Reservations = easy. Service = excellent. The salad bar was a little bit of a disappointment. It is not as good as it used to be. However, the the meat is delicious and it never quits coming!!! Beef, pork, chicken, lamb and sausage. Be sure to try the Lombos as they are delicious. Also try a Caipirinha. Caipirinha is Brazil's... More

What can I say about this incredible palace of meat that hasn't been said before? Easily made reservations via Opentable. Hostess was pleasant and guided us to our table. Great wine list. Salad bar has something for everyone. Fixed priced dinner (about $50/person) includes salad bar and as much savory meats as you can ingest. Gauchos (waiters) were quick to... More

Had lunch here having visited their sites in two other cities over the years. Salad bar is always a good start before the endless selections of grilled meat are served at your table. A big spurge but come hungry for a very filling meat lovers meal.

Fogo de Chao has never disappointed. Reservations for party of 9 were ready when we got there, including highchairs. Salad bar is great. Only thing I would add is a soup. There's a great variety of meats and the servers are very attentive. They provide nice desserts and on the house when celebrating an event. This is one of our... More

If you enjoy one server after another slicing over-cooked, under-seasoned meat onto your plate, then this is the place for you! My husband and I prefer meat that is properly cooked and an atmosphere that is quieter and not rushed. This is a case of More definitely being Less. The restaurant is dimly lit (Probably so you can't see the... More

The business associate that i was wish wanted to go here so i didn't have much choice. I should have just had the salad bar. Good selection and everything you need for a complete meal. The mashed potatoes left little to be desired, IMHO. The starch in a basket was good. The meats, except for the steak, were good, especially... More
