Three girlfriends visiting from Buffalo for a long weekend. We thought San Antonio would be fun. Riverwalk was over crowded and very touristy. No shopping that would make our visit unique--mostly souvenirs.... The highlight was finding Pearl Brewery...and the gem of a restaurant within its walls. Fresh homemade pasta, seafood, a cheese and antipasto table that was to die for... More

We have been to dinner a couple of times but on this occasion we had breakfast. As always food was really good; fresh ingredients, crispy bacon, cuddled eggs, and fantastic coffee (served with a Nutella filled merengue morsel)! Great for couples breakfasts. For the type of meal and food we ordered, it was more expensive that expected. Service was not... More

We stopped for lunch with friends who were already fans of Il Sogno. They didn't exaggerate. It was a wonderful experience. I tried a sampling from the antipasto table and the 2 of the 3 items I selected were amazing with the insalata de mare good but not great. My husband ordered a terrific sandwich that he had to share... More

Last night we dined with two other couples, both local, at this popular dining experience in the Pearl Brewery complex. We were traveling from out of town, looking forward to revisiting Il Sogno. Our server, Ryan, was eager to sell us a newly added to the list $110 red wine--we passed. The main thing that marred the evening were the... More

First time here, referred by a coworker. Girls drove up to see 2CELLOS concert and we dropped in for Sunday lunch. Ordered the braised ribs in red wine and I couldn't get enough. This dish is beyond delicous, the meat was tender and just amazing. Heaven in my mouth, very happy with this dish. We also enjoyed the chef's dishes... More

We went there for lunch. We had a house salad for starter and was very good. Main course was a pasta for my husband and me. It was perfect. Cooked al dente, sauce in the right amount and flavorful. Decoration is nice. Service is very attentive.

Food OK but didn't get it for 1 1/2 hour. Four tables seated after us got their food first, in spite of our inquiries. Manager blamed chef, chef blamed server, owner displayed disrespectful, arrogant attitude. Totally strange! There is a wonderful restaurant within a block--we will go there next time.

Was looking forward to dinner at Il Sogno. It was good but did not, IMO, live up to the hype. Everything was just a bit short of very good. Started when they didn't have my reservation. I gave them my name and told them I had a 6:30 reservation. (I would never make a 6:30 reservation voluntarily, so I must... More

Great food, lovely setting, professionally seved. I lovely way to spend Valentine's Day. A complete selection of wines by the glass ranging from about $10 to Bout $25 per glass. The chef's stater table offers a wide variety of very tasty meats, cheeses and vegetables to select from, and provide a reasonable prices stater for the table.the double pork chop was... More

Do not go and waste time/money in that place! The owner is a bully! Wait over an hour and a half to get food with no apologies worst service, worst experience of a lifetime! And the food was not that like some other reviews said!
