Fluffy, homemade tortillas

Affordable Mexican fare joint. For tourist; this is the place locals visit. The Joe's Western Omelette can't beat. Tacos are great and served piping hot.

I just ate at Eddie's for the first time. I got the Eddie's deluxe, which has a little bit of everything on it: a taco, a chalupa, a tamale, two enchiladas, rice and beans, and all that was still under $7. The quality is fine: not bad, but not great either. Solid food at a low price. Excellent government-quality cheese... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch as I drove by on business. The simple structure screamed 'local' so I thought I would try it. I had one of their lunch specials, Steak Enchilada, which was good. When I ordered my drink I was surprised to see how big it was. When I left the restaurant at noon (I got there... More

We almost missed this place because the building is plain and set back but after we drove down the street a few times, we saw the sign and decided to try it. This is awesome food, great service and amazing prices. Once we ate there, we had to keep going back. On one visit, I had a puffy tacos combo... More

This was absolutely the worst mexican food ever. Chicken Quesadillas for $7.99. The chicken was horrible, cheese disgusting. Sour cream iffy, beans and rice tasted like soap. DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! San Antonio can do so much better than this place. Ice on the floor that no one bothered to clean up. Bad experience.....

I had lunch with a companion this week at Eddies Taco House and liked the experience. Very casual blue collar place. We were definitely the only non-locals but we were welcomed with friendly smiles and prompt service. The menu is simple but cheap and authentic...enchilads, tacos, etc. This isnt chain restaurant mexican with piles of shredded lettuce and dollops of... More
