Custard for a drive home

We visit San Antonio once a month and always pick up chocolate custard cones and pbc concretes. Delicious desserts that make all happy. This trip today was just for us girls and we also delighted in custard after shopping at the Quarry. THank you once again Freddy's.

If you're shopping in the Quarry, this is the best place to eat a delicious burger! This is the 2nd time I've been here, and it's now my favorite place to eat! The custard and ice cream treats are very good; being from Wisconsin, this is what I'm used to having for ice cream, not powdered mixes like Dairy Queen.... More

10/1/2013 celebrating my birthday here in San Antonio and my husband noticed this place in the Alamo Quarry Market. First, they do have a veggie burger that is lettuce, tomato, and onion(I think) but then I noticed the grilled cheese and had that with fries...$3.99 and a mini shake...$1.70 Second, the cashier was VERY nice and friendly and accommodating. My... More

This place is quick and pretty tasty! Like that they have a fry sauce! In comparison to Culver's, I do think Culver's is better. However, Freddy's is still really good

We wanted to grab a quick bite without going through drive-thru. If I'm not mistaken, burgers are made with ground up steak. Not your ordinary burger. Fries had a hint of salt and pepper and were the best I've ever had. I had a hot fudge sundae with their custard ice ream and it was perfect for a hot summer... More

mmm, mmm, good! Let's start there. The line wrapped around the building, and there were people everywhere. That's the only reason why we stopped. It was well worth it. The burger was made to order as was the shoestring fries. And, the cashiers were the best!!!

On our way back from dinner I happened to spy this place. The "frozen custard" sign drew us in as we are huge fans. This place didn't disappoint. The custard was everything I hoped for. If your hunting great ice cream you have to try Freddy's

Went here just because we drove by. Ever since then, we go at least twice a week. The food is great and the ice cream is even better. Great atomosphere and great staff make it even better. A must go to place in San Antonio!!!!

So we came here for lunch and we didn't really know what to expect since we never had a 'steakburger' before. But it was very good! Upon receiving our burgers, they looked like they were selfish with the meat, but it tasted so good with what they put on there!! It wasn't an average burger, it was a very tasty... More

Freddy's is one of those places where you can get a great hamburger or really good hot dogs. The french fries are out of this world and you can top it all off with a chocolate sunday!
