We brought our family here as it was said to have been awarded as best in San Antonio. Best in what? Making customers wait over an hour for sushi that's average tasting? We are from North Texas, and we have sushi places that's probably haven't been recognized by any food awarding body but whose sushi offerings would definitely eat Sushi... More

We came for an evening of conversation, exquisite food, special drinks & excellent service. The 4 of us started with a sparkling sake poured into glasses of blackberries or raspberries. Delightful. Then of course we had seaweed salad because it is The Best at Sushi Zushi. Then we shared a feast of various rolls (including 1 topped with that marvelous... More

Two things struck me as off when I walked in here the first time. First, the sushi is made in the back, there is no sushi bar. There is a bar for alcohol where you can eat sushi, but it's made in the back. Second, the menu is massive. There has to be 100 different kinds of rolls, I didnt... More

Like all your other customers, we're sooooo sorry you closed but hoping you'll find a new location soon! The closing sure wasn't due to the quality of food or the service though -- all great! We miss Mario, Ramiro, Alex, Pablo, and all the others! Warm, wonderful place, caring and courteous management and staff, great atmosphere. And the greatest bean... More

La Posada Del Rey offers traditional San Antonio Mexican fare. The food is consistently good, as are the margaritas. The restaurant interior has a nice appearance. There is a bar and large TV for watching sporting events, as well as a separate room for large parties. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if you are looking for traditional... More

Very friendly service, great combination plates. My 88 year old mother loves the kind attention she gets as soon as we arrive. ( A kiss on the hand and a hug!) Both the management and waitstaff are always attentive and caring. We enjoy the green enchiladas, chalupas, fajita salad, and love the barracho beans too. Great hot sauce also...not too... More

I am Mexican, grew up with an excellent cook and when I travel, I am often disappointed on what is called Mexican restaurants in the U.S. This one is truly excellent, delicious food, very good and charming service, comfortable chairs - I thoroughly dislike hard, wooden chairs, but this restaurant is comfortable in every sense. I was a guest, so... More
