Description: Zocca offers contemporary Italian cuisine, fine wine, and cocktails at one of the most scenic spots on San Antonio’s renowned Riverwalk, where towering cypress trees shade the restaurant’s riverside patio. Zocca’s casually elegant interior of burnished copper, rich wood, and handsome onyx panels creates a relaxed, welcoming ambiance. The culinary artists in Zocca’s kitchen bring a contemporary spin to traditional Old World flavors, focusing on locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients to create delectable and memorable dishes. Zocca’s private dining options can accommodate from 10 guests to 100, in an al fresco patio setting to the convivial Chef’s Table to buy-out of the entire restaurant.

Quiet, refined. Relaxed atmosphere. Pizza is a winner, the mozzarella is the real deal, not fake. Also had the ravioli with veal, it was just right, meat was flavoured just right so that the veal flavour wasn't left tasting like older beef. Nice salads, decent wine list but not the largest selection of by the glass. You won't be disappointed.

I found this restaurant while walking on the Riverwalk. I wasn't in the mood for Mexican food and just felt like grabbing a bite for lunch. It was a nice day so I sat outside and enjoyed some good food. The service was friendly and quick and the food was good. It was just what I was looking for at... More

We were traveling with friends and staying at the Hotel Contessa which is next door to the Westin. We ate at Zocca two nights and both were exceptional. We chose to eat inside by the glass doors as it was very cool outside. The meal began with great bread and oil. I had a Caprese Salad (heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella cheese... More

Is inside the Westin River walk hotel. The food is good and they have a terrace next to the River. Typical Italian menu with pastas, salads a dessert. The breakfast us also good.

Third night dining at the Zocca and it was even more amazing this time! Chef Shawn Zavitz is a master chef - his special dish of veal marsala was an award-winning creation, night after night, and did not disappoint yet again. His desserts were works of art as well - dueling cannolis and tiramasu are must-haves for the end of... More

It was a bit on the quiet side probably because being during the week. I ordered the arancini for starter and they... More

Stopped here for lunch during a conference in San Antonio. Great location on the Riverwalk. Was pretty disappointed with the rest, however. The staff up front were far from welcoming, and it took a while for the waitress to take our drink orders, although she was very pleasant when she did. Bread was meh, and the pasta was not good.... This was a nice place to have lunch along the riverwalk with affordable prices. I had the Turkey Panini and it was nice size food serving for an affordable price. Service was fast and friendly and they had a lot of options for gluten free, vegetarian etc. I would suggest to others without hesitation.

Puts rest of Riverwalk to shame for quality, value, and consistency. Top notch food and service on multiple visits.

It was the New Years Holiday weekend and while it was dreary and cold outside Zocca was warming our spirits and tummies inside! Even though it was late, around 9:30 p.m our server was so kind she treated us like she had just arrived and we were her only table and the manager himself was attentive not only to us... More
