If you are fan of Brazilian Steak Houses and the likes of Fogo and Texas de Brazil, Chama Gaucha will not disappoint. Like it's competitors, you will be overwhelmed with great customer service, an amazing salad bar, delightful sides items (little cheese breads and plantains), and amazing Brazilian style meats. You have everything from lamb to chicken to beef so... More

This place is amazing! So much food, they come around with all different kinds of meats - everything we had was delicious. Service was fantastic - and the dessert... heaven!!!

I've been to a few Brazilian Steak restaurants and this by far has been one of the best. The restaurant was big, staff and waiters awesome with fair price for the quality and food. I took my San Antonio team to dinner and we all loved it! This is definetly a place to stop in and fill up. Highly recommend... More

Chama gaucha My first memory of gauchos was Brazilian cowboys from my grade school history course; they roasted red meat over campfires. Chama Gaucha still cooks over a fire but meat choices have greatly expanded- beef (several cuts), pork, lamb (several cuts), chicken, and sausage –and are always hot! The beef fillet and rack of lamb were excellent and the... More

I love Brazilian SteakHouses. My favorite in San antonio is Texas de Brazil but I decided to attend Chama Gaucha to take advantage of their lunch special which is half reg. dinner price and is something that Texas de Brazil does not offer. Food and service are excellent. Ambiance is also great. Overall, a great place to dine at.

The food is delicious, the place modern and very clean, but there was an incident during our visit worth mentioning. While we were already having coffee and ready to go, we noticed all the waiters passing by our table and looking outside through the window that faces straight to the lobby. Within a couple of minutes at least 20 different... More

Let me preface this by saying that I live in Houston, where there is also a Chama Gaucha which is how I'm basing my review. Came here with my family for a special occasion, brother's engagement announcement dinner. There were 6 of us total. The service was excellent, no issue there. The food is where we started second guessing where... More

Went to dine last night with a party of nine. The wait time to be seated was around 45 minutes but well worth the wait. The salad bar has a nice assortment of salads that look and taste like they were made seconds ago. They have a good selection of wines in their wine list. But let's get down to... More
