A little Disappointing

My wife wanted to visit this spot since the owner/chef is well known in San Antonio. We stopped for lunch yesterday. the grounds are full of trees but the parking is limited. You order by the weight (they do not offer plates per the counter order taker). We ordered a lb. of pork ribs, an... read more

We arrived just before closing time, but service was great and the food at its peak even near the end of the day. Peaches in the beans only made them even better. Beef was cooked perfectly with a great tasting bark!

Texas BBQ has an implied exceptionalism to it. I've eaten BBQ in Luling, Lockhart, Cibolo, and several other non-franchised places. I was hopeful for a great food experience at Two Bros today. That didn't happen. Upon arrival, an air of arrogance set the stage when I placed my order. I was cheery and excited to sample new BBQ. What was... More

Avoid at all cost!! The food was not worth the price: cream corn tasted like pickles, pork was under cooked, BBQ sauces tasted terrible and they didn't have any chicken thighs or pork ribs by 4pm and wont substitute something else in to the order so you have to order the more expensive meal. Tea and lemonade tasted like it... More

Had the family meal here so got to try a lot of things. Service was very prompt and friendly. Fun place to eat - off of butcher paper. I felt the pork ribs were tough, and I had to peel the bark off to eat them. Did not enjoy the ribs. Now the cherry glazed ribs were a little sweet... More

It's not the best but it's not the worst either. They use oak when smoking their brisket and it is good. I think it is a little pricey but I'd go again.

It had such great reviews that we drove far to try it out. The staff were very nice and friendly but tumbs down to the BBQ. The brisket was dry and the chicken and pork ribs were undercooked. I did like the sides though. Overall, I wouldn't recommend.

We were in San Antonio and wanted to try the BBQ based on an article in Texas Monthly. We had brisket, ribs, and sausage, which was just above average. The brisket is true BBQ, not roast with sauce on it, but a long way away from Blacks, Salt Lick, and the other heavy hitters. With that said, they have some... More

...but I'm not sure how they got a 95 from the state for cleanliness. The bbq is okay. I personally do NOT prefer my brisket smothered in gravy but instead enjoy it slow smoked. The ribs were smothered in a sweet sauce that I did not think was Carolina bbq. Give me Texas or KC bq any day over this...

Second visit here cuz we really wanted to try the pork butt. So our meal consisted of that, pork ribs. Brisket, potato salad, and mac n cheese. We were surprised the place was empty at noon on a Sunday, but it got a little busier as we ate. The pork butt was delicious - very juicy and tender. The pork... More
