Certainly not what it used to be. Ever since the college took over they now have a very large corporate catering company running the place. Food was by far sub par it is the same crap they serve in the cafeteria. Had a manager standing at counter the while time barking orders and telling the cook how to cook really!... More

WAS the best diner in Salem. Johnny Pesky of Red Sox fame used to eat there every AM. Bought out by Salem State College. Thanks a pant load Salem State!

Located in an old trailer, it was an interesting place for a good quality, inexpensive breakfast. There were busy, but service was still fast.

Restaurant tucked a way by the harbor in bass harbor. Great view of the harbor and the docks with colorful lobster traps. You are so close to the water you can watch the tide come in. Food was great and there is an outdoor patio. The restaurant is is near the Bass harbor lighthouse.

I go here every so often. I've never been disappointed with whatever I eat and the prices are unbeatable! The waitresses are super friendly and wait to get your food is very short!

Typical diner/ greasy spoon fare. Nothing worth driving out of your way for. Lots of regulars and locals, but bring the antacids!

While staying in Salem, I stopped in this old fashioned diner made from an old train car, the way they used to be, and had a really wonderful breakfast. The bacon was crips and not greasy, nor were the home fries greasy. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly, not runny, and the service was quick - I will definitely go... More
