Hands down, the best burgers on the planet. A burger comprised of chuck, short ribs and brisket. This is not your mother's burger. Not only was the meal delicious, the waitperson and manager could not do enough for us and were very accommodating. Looking forward to returning to try other fabulous Asian Fusion dishes.

Our group of more than 20 filled a small section of the restaurant. The staff was incredibly helpful as we made arrangements beforehand- and the food was great despite the large number of us. The menu has something for everyone and that is one reason we chose it. My only complaint is that I think for groups that are large... More

I have been to Opus several times now - once with a large group for dinner, once with just two of us for dinner at the bar, and a few more times for sushi or appetizers and drinks. I have also enjoyed drinks downstairs in the lounge with excellent live music. Overall, the drink list and beer list is very... More

Let me start by stating that I really wanted to like this restaurant. However, it misses on so many levels except for the superb staff. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a nice bar. That's where the compliments have to end. The menu was varied and had some nice choices. Our original plan was to start with two tapas... More

Hello, I am so sorry that you had such a lack luster time here. I have addressed the issues with lack of flavor in the short rib poutine, reasoning for the fries is that it is a classic French Canadian dish and is meant over fries. Your idea of celeriac or mashed sounds delicious, and next time your here we... More

We have drinks and dessert at OPUS often because of all the art shows they host. If only the food was as good as the decor (love, love, love that neon bar). I just assumed that I would like the food there. The menu is so strange...lots of vegan and lots of vegetarian and sushi. And LOTS and lots of... More

I don't usually go to the same restaurant within one month's time, but this place is amazing. The menu includes unique small plates, mouth-watering entrees, superrb sushi, outstanding desserts and excellent drinks. I can't wait to come back again. See you for yourself -- you will not be disappointed.

Have been to Opus three times, this last time with friends visiting from out of town. The underground man-cave area looks fun but was never open when we were there so we always sat at the upstairs bar, where the décor is a bit industrial-chic. The cocktails are terrific. I can't eat the food due to various allergy issues; my... More

Hello, Thank you for your review of Opus. I have to say I know we had two bartenders that were not getting along. They are both now working elsewhere, we wish them the best as well. Our downstairs opens at six o'clock every night. In terms of allergy restrictions, our chef is super creative and can change or even create... More

Opus Restaurant, part of the Serenitee group, recently opened in Salem. We had a very nice dinner with friends. Reservations are not accepted for parties fewer than 6, but we arrived early in the evening and the 4 of us were seated immediately. By the time we left at 8, the attractive bar was at capacity and the restaurant was... More

Can't go wrong with local seafood done up many ways. Attentive and smart staff, and a warmly renovated historic building round out the great dining and meandering buzzing bar. Amazing cocktails, coolest extra subterranean hangout, fab food, and even the art is awesome. Just had an awesome night with friends and it has become a regular meeting place after work.

Our choices this visit consisted of a Surf and turf sushi featuring steak tartar and lobster - and a Opus burger accounted with 3 German and Belgium biers. All superb flavors, presentation and a very graceful staff. Bravo! Total bill $57.79 incl tax.
