We were taken here by our son in law, on a recommendation from his cousin. The decor is lively and colourful, the atmosphere is informal and noisy (in a good way). The food is unexpected, well for me anyway, and surprisingly good, (no meat - not normally my bag at all) I opted for something that was apparently shiitake heavy,... More

A friend wanted to eat healthy so we tried this place out. I knew it wasn't my kind of thing going in but I tried to go in with an open mind. I tried the carrot cake smoothy, a little too sweet for my taste but I did actually like my meal. The place was cute inside and the staff... More

Staff was very friendly and helpful, since we were at a loss as to what to order ;D . Hubby and I each got a salad and they were both DELISH !! I had some of their iced tea, and hubby had a smoothie, both were very good. Well, I have to take his word for it as I didn't... More

I found the place by accident. Had a Rumi salad, and banana smoothie with blueberries, heavenly... The staff was helpful, and kind. Also had delicious lentil soup... So so good, vegan options a lot! :) enjoy!

I've been to Life Alive twice so far and I love it. It may not appeal to everyone as the fruits and vegetables are diced into bite-size pieces or shredded, but I don't mind. My favorites are The Seeker and The Sufi Poet. The Seeker has some garlic lemon hummus, chopped cashews, granny apples, cucumber, shredded carrots & spring greens... More

After many good reviews from friends, I went up to Life Alive at noon on a Friday. The atmosphere was inviting, the reclaimed wooden tables and wood floors gave the place a warm woodland touch. After perusing the menu, I had many questions, which the staff were more than happy to answer.I had the romantic for lunch and the green goddess for... I only agreed to have lunch here because my health-conscious mom wanted to try it. Looking over the menu, I was sure I'd be stopping somewhere else on the way home to get some "real" food. I couldn't have been more wrong. This place is incredible. The food is fabulous. So filling and absolutely delicious. I also tried the "Elvis... More

Organic......and vegetarian. No way, right? I hear you...you want real satisfying and fill-me-up-food, right? Well, that IS what you get here. I would give this place all 5 stars, if it weren't for the fact that I realize most of you, especially when you're on vacation, want that vacation-ey, not good for you food. But, like the title suggest, don't... More
