After many good reviews from friends, I went up to Life Alive at noon on a Friday. The atmosphere was inviting, the reclaimed wooden tables and wood floors gave the place a warm woodland touch. After perusing the menu, I had many questions, which the staff were more than happy to answer.I had the romantic for lunch and the green goddess for... I only agreed to have lunch here because my health-conscious mom wanted to try it. Looking over the menu, I was sure I'd be stopping somewhere else on the way home to get some "real" food. I couldn't have been more wrong. This place is incredible. The food is fabulous. So filling and absolutely delicious. I also tried the "Elvis... More

Organic......and vegetarian. No way, right? I hear you...you want real satisfying and fill-me-up-food, right? Well, that IS what you get here. I would give this place all 5 stars, if it weren't for the fact that I realize most of you, especially when you're on vacation, want that vacation-ey, not good for you food. But, like the title suggest, don't... More

A totally AWESOME cafe with GREAT vegetarian and vegan options! We both felt fabulous after we stopped here for lunch, hubby had The Emperor (which was so yummy that I kept stealing bites of his), and I had the Romantic wrap. will go again when we visit Salem.

Do NOT eat here, unless you like dealing with rude customer service. Up until recently, I had a very steady experience with Life Alive. I was a customer at the Salem location for almost 2 years. However, after some poorly handled misconduct, I will not eat there until the situation is rectified. The food is amazing, and all but one... More

The sunny space invites great conversation and brainstorming. Food and beverages are tasty and not heavy. Value is excellent and best of all the day is brimming with energy after a wholesome lunch.

Healthy, delicious, friendly and cozy. Great vegetarian meals. Happy staff. Have been to Salem and Lowell locations. Both are wonderful.

The food is tasty - but the best part is that I never feel guilty about treating myself to lunch here. Everything always tastes fresh and the staff are super friendly. Definitely not for a meat and potatoes kind of person, and there are some ingredients that I've had to ask to find out what exactly they are, but I've... More

Super flavorful vegetarian food! Went with a group of friends as we were visiting town. The Fool was crazy flavorful with a great combination of vegetables. The Romantic was a yummy yummy broccoli and other veggie wrap with just a bit of cheese! Garlicy goodness! The other dish we had was the Goddess, which was a very well balanced veggie... More

My cousins took me there tonight for a B day. (12/4) We all had a different variation of the dinner plate. Everything had assertive flavors and the food was prepared with pride. I don't understand people who take their shaky mental states into consideration when leaving feedback on restaurants. Please be considerate to the people who went to great effort... More
