Delicious Italian - There's a reason why it's so busy

It has been long enough between dining here and writing this review that I can't remember exactly what I ate here but the feelings of satiety and the good experience linger. After the witch tour, I was freezing and had a delicious bowl of soup. Then couldn't decide and had a custom bruschetta. Delicious!!!

This small, intimate and friendly restaurant will not disappoint. The special veal stew was certainly more than special as was the spinach ravioli, both served in very generous portions. A very respectable selection of wines coupled with a most efficient and friendly staff made our experience most enjoyable. Thank you!

We had squid and pasta, veal scaloppine and tomato and onion salad - all very good. Apparently soft drinks are not refillable - even though they are served in smallish glasses.

My Family has dined in this restaurant countless times and recently experienced undercooked chicken and both my Sister and I sent back dish and the Owner came over to us telling us the chicken is delicious and nothing wrong with it even though it was raw. Will not go back to this restaurant as too many better choices with warmer... More

This place does not live up to the TripAdvisor reviews. Everything was off, from the uncomfortable seat next to a cold wall to the watery minestrone and the small gummy Tshrimp in an appetizer. The only good thing was the lemon sorbet "imported from Italy." Entrees were barely mediocre, bread was over-warmed (hard and crunchy), wine was vinegary. The servers... More

Just a nice straightforward Italian restaurant with that old-time funky Italian décor. Good basic Italian dishes cooked well with great service.

Bella Verona is an institution, and its location right outside the Hawthorne Hotel means a lot of tourists get to enjoy its authentic Italian fare. On our latest visit, we were pleased to see owner Giorgio keeping things running smoothly. We chose specials off the blackboard (including artichokes, minestrone, pasta, shrimp and polenta), enjoyed a couple of bottles of Italian... More

We had a really nice experience at Bella Verona on a quiet night over New Year's weekend. The service was attentive, but not overbearing (even though only a couple of table were occupied). The food is great and reasonably priced. Plus the atmosphere is A-1!

I have been coming hear for years and live and have a business close by . My family came in town for a visit and they just loved the food and how nice the owners are. The crew they have working are all so nice! The owner is from Italy and so isn't my nieces husband and they just had... More
