Cute Little Place

We happen to stumble into this place as we were walking to different place and being in Salem we couldn't pass up eating at a place named like this. The food was good, I had the clam chowder. The waitress was nice and very attentive. We asked for separate bills and she was able to accommodate. I... read more

Stumbled upon this place after a a trip to the museum. We were just looking for a quick bite to eat and this place was perfect. Waitress/bartender was very friendly. Food came right out and was great. You could tell the regulars in there. The bartender knew their names and the cook even came out to say hello to someone.... More

We were at the Witch's Brew while we loved the setting and the food was good the rudeness of the staff will keep us from returning. When we came inside there wasn't a hostess or sign asking us to wait to be seated. We began to walk to dining room and half way there we were stopped and informed we... More

Very laid back and great food. Short walking distance from the Morning Glory Bed and Breakfast. Local people, great little pub. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter and I were staying in Salem to see friends. Locals in the bar and the restaurant pretty full. Fabulous atmosphere. Although small you can be lost within it. We love the food. Fairly basic fare but welcoming, very good value and tasty. For us a must if in town a great place to eat.

Loved it here! There is a bar area and locals do come here but the food is amazing the portions are great and the price is really good! We had starters and mains and I have to say we couldn't finish either! Such good food, had Pork chops with sweet and sour the chops were the biggest i've ever seen!... More

We stopped here for a quick lunch after touring the House of Seven Gables. We should have chose the other restaurant. We shared a Club sandwich and fries, which was plenty, but the food was "ho-hum" the turkey was deli meat, not cooked turkey and the fries I suspect were frozen. The service was alright, and the waitress was friendly.... More

The food was good. The vegetables were fresh and very tasty. Scallops a little on the small side but good flavor. Swordfish underwhelming. Service was very good.

I had such a good time at this bar. Our drinks were delicious and reasonably priced, and our waitress even gave us a full beer replacement when my rather clumsy boyfriend spilled the last half of his beer all over the table (lol). The food was great - especially the grilled chicken sandwich which was out of this world! This... More
