Great place a bit out of the way

Great inside. Small restaurant with a separate bar (the type you wish you had the time to sit and have a beer with the bartender, who is also the waiter). Great food. Had a great lobster roll there. Close to the House of Seven Gables and the ferry (where I parked).

Good food, good service and good atmosphere! Had our grandchildren with us and all of us were treated well!

We stopped for a late lunch while visiting Salem. The food was solid (we had sandwiches) but the service, though friendly, was slow. Perhaps they did not have enough kitchen help. The price was reasonable for a tourist town.

We had dinner here. Travelling with children, note there is no children's menu. Three of us had steak tips, we found them tough and difficult to digest. The accompanying vegetables were watery, indicating they had been frozen. Appetizers were probably the tastiest. Overall, it was a disappointing meal and we would not return.

We happened by the Witch's Brew while site-seeing in Salem. The food was excellent! I got a tuna melt and it was great! Others in my party got hamburgers and steak tips, all excellent! Our waitress was friendly and accommodating!! Overall it was a wonderful lunch experience!!

We stopped for the name and the TripAdvisor Sign in the window. We were not disappointed. Personal attention by the staff, delicious food cooked to perfection, and plenty of it! The specialty cocktails were just right. A great place to dine and unwind near the House of Seven Gables.

We came here hoping to get breakfast/brunch. They have a great Brunch on Sundays. But it is Tuesday. The host was super sweet and charming. And she felt terrible that we came looking for breakfast. The place is super charming. It has a great atmosphere and the location is perfect.

Great food, reasonable prices. This is a very homey cafe, located on the main tour route, few hundred yards from the House of Seven Gables. I had a fantastic stuffed sole and my wife had an equally good stuffed haddock. The cafe has a very local, friendly atmosphere.

We stopped in the visitor center and met bob. The most friendly and helpful volunteer ever. Regaled us with delight stories and marked a map of what not to miss and what to avoid in Salem. His recommendation for a restaurant was the witches brew. It was clean, hot water to wash your hands and sandy the owner was delightful.... More

This cafe was recommended by one of the tour guides and it was not only very good (all three of us enjoyed our meals) however it was also a good value.
