I went with my fiancé on a slow Wednesday around noon and the place was nearly empty. The service was alright but the food was not anything inspiring and my chicken was dry.

Its a brew pub with its own beers...... We were a family of 3 that ate there. The beer was good as was the food. It was very noisy inside. One of us had the flank steak, one had a burger, and one had chili - all said it was good.

I like the lay out of the bar and the beer selections. The menu seems updated and the hummus & charcuterie plates were yummy! The bartender (as you know we only eat at the bar) was very and knowledgeable about the food & beer. I will definitely be returning.

I live about 100 miles away, yet I make at least 4 trips here a year. Honestly, I'd drive up here just for the FOOD, let alone the beer. I've traveled the world in search of the best beer, and nobody tops Salem Beer Works. Sadly, they've changed over the years (I wish they left it like they originally had... More

This is a perfect place after a long day of tourist activities in Salem. The staff were great, service was quick and efficient, and the price was very reasonable! The food quality was fantastic, and of course the beer - how could you go wrong in a micro-brewery? Excellent beer choices on tap - would have liked to try many... More

Fish & chips was good. Bunker Hill Blueberry beer was better. Real blueberry's bouncing around in the beer giving it a lava lamp effect. Pretty cool and definitely one of the better blueberry beers I've had. Service could have used a smile but wasn't horrible.

We stopped in hoping for a drink, on a very busy tourist filled saturday afternoon on a beautiful day when you'd assume that a business like Salem Beer Works would have a sufficient number of employees on the floor. We stopped in and there was no hostess. Stood there 10 minutes untill someone blew by going "someone will be right... More

The fall beer menu is great. Love the blueberry beer with real berries. The pumpkin ale comes with or without cinnamon sugar on the rim - it's amazing! The food was ok but we go for the drinks. Large bar and dining area. Bartenders are always nice. FUN
