On a recent visit to Salem, we liked the Beer Works so much that we ate there twice. We had the same server both times, and she was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The first time we ordered burgers. They were terrific, cooked as specified, with hot crispy fries. The chive fries were especially good. We had ordered clam chowder,... More

With the assortment of local brews made on site in addition to a decent selection of bottled beers, this place is a great place to hang out with friends and catch up. Across the entire restaurant you have plenty of TVs to watch the games and snack some great food. After tasting the homebrews, make sure to take home a... More

Took my 14 year old cousin in for snack between Salem attractions. We had buffalo wings that were melt in your mouth delish. I'm not really a beer girl but had a pale ale that I really enjoyed and my cousin and I developed an addiction to Boston's Tower Root Beer thanks to the recommendation of our super waiter.

Parking garage across the street for easy access. Got the beer flight, good price, great idea for lunch. Also decided to get the half nachos with chili- plenty for 2-4 people, heavy on the jalapeños. Sliders are BIG- not 2 biters, more like 4-5. Cheese fries were tasty. Will definitely come back! The nut brown ale is so good!!

The place is a good stop is downtown Salem. There is a good vibe. Inside and outside seating. We were promptly seated and the server arrived for a drink order. There were many servers. In fact, so many that one server was leaning on the bar each time I walked by on my way to and from the bathroom at... More

We stopped here as part of the Massachusetts beer trail and it was a great experience. We had beer samplers, and all the beers were very good. We sat out on the porch which was very nice, but the inside is also very nice, modern and clean. We had the bread bites and cheese – a great compliment to the... More

Very good beer, average food, centrally located. You can sit outside on a nice day. They brew the beer on site with lots of varieties to choose from. Don't expect a gourmet meal, but it certainly a decent meal.

My boss told me that I HAD to try the blueberry beer. Was one of the most amazing beers I've ever had. And I drink A LOT of beer! (Hate to admit to this).. My girlfriend also got a sampler with a few different beers. All were just as awesome as the next! And the food! Wow! I believe I... More

We weren't planning on dinner here. The hubs just wanted to watch the world cup. The kids and hubby ate. I had the beer sampler. Their beer is very tasty and so is their food. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
