Great sports bar

SBW is the place to go for beer in Salem. Plenty of seating and a nice long full far with lots of TV screens. There's a nice menu selection including different salads, appetizers and entrée's. SBW has THE BEST fried pickles I've ever tasted!

Hands down amazing food! Wow, I never expected a place to be so darn good! My friend treated me here, and I really took her word for it. It's her favorite restaurant, but also in my top 5 here in Salem since moving here! I'd give it six stars if I could!

Although the restaurant seems very popular, it's not to my taste. I'm more of a home cooking/diner sort of customer, and trendy menus don't thrill me. The beer menu is fantastic, although the one I tried seemed flat and watery. It would be good for a hot summer afternoon, though;

The potato and cheese spring rolls were to die for - massive order though, could easily feed four! I had the green monster sandwich which was excellent and hit the spot after a long day of walking around. Hubby had the crispy sandwich which was good but he didn't rave about it. We both had fries for a side and... More

I have hosted two parties at Salem Beer Works and both went off without a hitch! The managers are friendly and the servers are attentive. I ordered a bunch of appetizers, and everything was delicious! We especially enjoyed the pupu platters (fried pickles, wings, dough bites, nachos, onion strings), quesadillas, spent grain Margherita pizza, hummus platter, and fries (sweet potato... More

I stopped here after a long day of touring Salem. I ordered a flight and found several beers to be OK to good. The building was new and clean. The service was just on the OK side. The bartenders were not very attentive and I had to get their attention to get an order placed. They seemed more interested in... More

Good burgers and nice beer selection. Good wings too. Did order the humus appetizer. The description on the menu did not match the resulting dish. Disappointing. Also they deep fried the Pita bread. Why? No need to make what should be a healthy appetizer unhealthy. I would go back again but I would stick to the standard American fare.

Beer Works is always a place we like to take visitors because they have something on the menu for everyone. Our guests love to take home a selection of novelty beers as a souvenir. The atmosphere is a little industrial and such a large place can make it difficult to find your wait person, but all in all, a consistently... More
