Typical wharf restaurants among others on the docks of Salem. We went for lunch on a Saturday and most restaurants had special pricing and were busy. Finz had no specials of any consequence in either prices or meals. The food was average and like any you could find anywhere. We had four different dishes in our party to include a... More

There's not one single thing to dislike about this place. The hostess and the waitresses are very helpful and friendly, which I liked a lot. I tried their lobster ravioli and the taste simply melted me on the spot! The salad was delicious and then tried the a cocktail of rye whisky and muddled figs and it was superb! All... More

We enjoyed a quite lunch down by the harbour in Salem. The fresh fish was wonderful. If you aren't a fish lover don't worry, (don't get me wrong I love fish), I enjoyed the baked goat cheese for appetizer and Arugula Salad with a hint of Vanilla dressing. There is parking right by the Restaurant. Enjoy a little exercise after... More

We stopped in for a late lunch and some lobster. The view over the harbor and boats was perfect. The décor is white table cloth casual and, at least while we were there, quiet. We had a very good meal of lobster roll and steamed lobster. Both were very nice. The lobster roll was almost pure lobster chunks with appealing... More

When I planned to come out to Salem I had all the places lined up where to eat and this one particular place was not in the book that I had of places to go when I went to the hotel and ask them questions about places to eat where wouldn't probably be so packed on Halloween day the hotelstaff... Had the crab cakes and shared a farm salad. The crab cakes were a little bit on the bland side, but tender and well-prepared. The waitress was extremely patient. In the beginning my cousin was constantly on her cell phone and kept asking the waitress to come back, which she did with a smile. Another cousin and her 4 y/o... More

We went in full Halloween costume and were allowed in. The Seafood Stew was so Italian and amazing. Sumptuous, tomatoey, garlic flavors with pesto hints! Fish perfectly seasoned and cooked. A must do!

We had a quiet an enjoyable lunch in November after visiting the Peabody Essex Museum. The drinks menu is comprehensive and the bartender is skilled. The mixed drink selection and beer (many local) selections are broad and do not disappoint. I enjoyed the oysters and noted that they have them for $1 each from 4-6pm and after 9pm, which is... More

Te review asks if this is the best meal I have ever had in a restaurant. That's kind of a silly question. How can anyone say it's the best of the best. However, our meal was wonderful. The service, the view right on the water, the people were just great. Salem on November 1st is crazy the day after Hollloween... More

We love this restaurant! It has amazing food and drinks and a great location to bring friends from out of town. Note about atmosphere: It is very noisy and we love that when have friends and loud family. So don't go here looking for quiet romantic seclusion. It is also hard for anyone hearing impaired because the background noise is... More
