Unexpectedly Good

I hadn't been to 62 Wharf in quite some time -- not sure why it fell off my radar. Anyway, I had such a good meal there I returned the following week with some friends. The menu itself is one of the best around. The pastas are very interesting with ingredients you don't expect like rabbit or... read more

Lovely dining experience. My husband had a cocktail off their specialty menu that was inventive and tasty without being overly pretentious. They have about 5 red wines and 5 white wines by the glass with a longer list of wines by the bottle, which was enough of a choice for us. We ordered two small plates - lamb sausage and... More

We went on a yucky rainy night and had a delicious meal. Appetizers and entrees were well prepared and plated. However, our server was definitely on the slow, inattentive side. Thank goodness we had water bottles on the table otherwise we would have been very thirsty! He also needs to learn how to anticipate the guests needs and not to... More

You will enjoy this intimate restaurant on the Salem waterfront. Our group loved the brussel sprouts, fig appetizers, and mussels, but we all weren't so crazy about the pasta with bolognese. A good wine list and a bartender that knew how to make a professional cocktail. Also, excellent service. Perhaps a bit pricey and you may have problems finding a... More

Great atmosphere, food and wine. A great place for dinner and to chill with friends, whether sitting at the bar or in the dinning room a great food experience. Friendly waitstaff and bartenders are there to suggest a great choice for dinner and a great wine to go with it!

The duck is perfect and the wine is small but ample with some great choices. They also are willing to let you sit and drink after they no longer serve food.

An amazing little modern Italian restaurant. food is simply a step above most restaurants in Salem, Expecially outside the realm of seafood. I would recommend it to any foodie and be confident they would like it.

I took my husband here for his birthday dinner. He had the tuna sashimi to start and loved it. Wanted another but luckily the main courses came. He had the pasta bolognese and I had the salmon. We thoroughly enjoyed them both. Mine was cooked perfectly & his was made with fresh pasta. We shared the toffee pudding for dessert... More

This is currently the finest restaurant in Salem. The chef is a master, concentrating on Italian food, though not your good old red sauce. Rather he crafts brilliant versions of all sorts of Italian specialties. The room is pretty enough, the service is friendly and attentive. You can be assured of a wonderful meal. There is a nice bar and... More

We didn;t have reservations on Saturday night so we ate at a small table in the bar area, very romantice and cozy. The service was excellent, the bar was full.
