I wish this restaurant had a full liquor license year round, but the wine list is strong. When they do, I enjoy having a martini at the lovely bar. The homemade pasta is out of this world. I recently had a dish, which was wonderful, topped with a pouched egg inside a ravioli.

The food is mediocre at best. My wife used to work here when she was in collage and she recommended it. Unfortunately there might be a new chef. We were both super disappointed. The appetizer wasn't very good and the main course tasted like garbage. She ordered the lamb and I order the swordfish. Her lamb tasted like pure salt... More

I heard good things about this place, my best friend have it a rave review. Went there for dinner with my fiance and we were really surprised by how small of a portion you get for a large price. If they advertise the food to be gourmet, I'd understand, but I ate the salmon and I must say I've had... More

The salted cod and braised pork belly were delicious appetizers and much larger then we thought they were going to be. The garganelli with the duck was incredible. The flavors came together so perfectly. For dessert we had the panna cotta which was light and fluffy and the toffee pudding which was more like a chocolate cake with a warm... More

I took my father out for Father's Day, and we decided to try somewhere new for dinner as our favorite local restaurant came under new ownership and changed their atmosphere and menu. My father likes steak, and so I brought him to 62 as when I read through their menu online, their Grilled Skirt Steak sounded right up his alley.... More

We ate here back in April and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious food and great service. Our favorite dish was the pasta with duck, which was outstanding. Our waitress...I wish I could remember her name now...was one of the best servers we have ever had, anywhere. She was so personable... More

this restaurant was recommended so we stopped in and I was glad I did. It was nice that they had a separate menu identifying which of there foods were gluten free. They also had a gluten free pasta that was excellent. I also appreciated that you can get two different sized portions of pasta which allowed for an appetizer (prosciutto... More

We've been to 62 a few times over the last month and thoroughly enjoyed each occasion. We had been there fairly regularly when they had first opened and really enjoyed it, but then, for no particular reason it kind of fell off our radar. Mainly due to too many new options in Salem to explore, and travel. In any case,... More

My husband and I recently discovered 62 Restaurant and Wine Bar and rated it our favorite place to dine on picturesque Pickering Wharf. The food on your plate is not just a pretty presentation; it's delicious, prepared with knowledge and pride by the chef and his staff--offering interesting flavor combinations in various small plates (e.g., ricotta filled fried zucchini blossoms,... We go to "62" at least once a week, for the excellent food, the deep wine list, and the wonderful service. Highly recommended to all.
