It was a late dinner for one and the restaurant was at capacity at 9pm. I was brought to a table after a short wait and thanked more than one for my patience. The scallop appetizer was amazing. I had a glass of Malbec and ordered the Duck, they had sold out of all their specials. The Duck was cooked... More

The food was a mix of good and exceptional. The chickpea fritters appetizer might be the best thing I've ever tasted. The brick chicken was a miniscule step below that. My friend is gluten free and they have a separate menu available, which is almost identical to the main menu. The service was excellent: friendly and appropriate. This is not... More

We went unexpectedly and was surprised how good it was! The brick chicken was delicious! Hubby got the bluefish and scraped the plate clean. The pasta was home made and the waitress was spectacular! She knew everything that was on the menu, how it was prepared and was very knowledgeable about the whole restaurant! She gets an A+. Lots of... More

I love this place. The owner is the chef...and it makes a big difference in the quality of the food. They use local farms (like First Light Farm - a zero foot-print organic farm in Hamilton, MA that's AWESOME) and all this pastas and breads are made from scratch. They have small plate apps, and you can split the dinners... More

first time here and we had a great dining experience. The dining room had a wait, so we opted for the lounge setting in the bar. It was comfortable and nice to have room to relax. The food was perfectly presented and so yummy! Our waitress was fantastic, noticed the dessert we ordered was taking a while, and brought me... More

We recently went to 62 restaurant with a large family group to celebrate a birthday...including 4 children ages 10 and under. It was obvious on entering this wasn't exactly a typical family restaurant but a bit more upscale. However the servers were patient and well educated on the menu, offering helpfull suggestions. The menu selections were far above average and made... More

Had the Bolognese - pasta was fresh, properly cooked, but not particularly flavorful. Bolognese was nicely flavored but had a bit too much salt. Chicken under a brick was just ok. My spouse didn't finish it. Service was stellar, so it was enjoyable.

If you're in Salem I'd recommend this place and I will also say it is worth a drive. Our server Ryan was absolutely top notch; one of the best and most accommodating servers I've had. Food was great too.Chickpea fritters and fried brussels sprouts we perfect, although I did ask them to make my brussels sprouts vegetarian for me and... More
