We stopped in for a quick sandwich before leaving town. I got the ham sandwich and the wifey got the smoked salmon. Very enjoyable, light and healthy. All of the bread selections looked good and smelled even better. ... . .

For breads and sandwiches, I am sure A&J is good but their pastries are okay. If you want more authentic, go to Ziggy's. I had a Pumpkin Sugar bun there that was good but no wow factor. I will have to try it again when I go back up to Salem.

Smells so good you will want to enjoy your coffee sitting amongst the aromas. Breads are all great. Pastries are to die for...delicious and wholesome. Treats from here class up a meeting in a way donuts never will. The sesame-studded sea-urchin-like bread will be on our Thanksgiving table again this year.

If you want the best pastries in Salem, this is the place to be! Open the door and you'll be greeted by the smell of fresh bread and coffee. There's usually a line at the counter, but that's alright. When a business turns out baked goods of this quality, there's bound to be a crowd. The sticky buns and danish... More

If I lived in Salem I would be in trouble here. Scones, croissants, pain au chocolat, olive rolls, sticky buns, cheese danish . . . I would eat my way through the menu. Wish I could have tried some of the pies and breads, they looked beautiful. And the hand-pulled espresso drinks! Wow! There seems never to be a slow... More

I come here at least once a week to pick up bread, roasted garlic sourdough and asiago Chile are favorites of mine. But the best part of this place is the pastry section. In particular the tarts. I have never once has something I didn't love. I have even purposefully ordered flavors I knew I dislike and still, always have... More

I was truly impressed. We had the cheese Danish, croissant and cinnamon bun, I wish we lived local (or had A&J in Houston) Their layered pastry are light, crisp and buttery. My wife is a pastry chef and she was impressed. I would have liked to try their breads as they also look fantastic. I'm sure that everything they do... More

Visiting from England, what a treat. I love your diners, especially Reds but this made a lovely change for breakfast, Croissants, muffins, coffee, service, all excellent. Look forward to visiting again next time. A real treat!
