Good stop for lunch and pastries. Worth a stop especially for sweets. Quality of food is superb! Never disappointed in their offerings. '

We stopped for lunch on Saturday and the sandwiches were so fresh and delicious. I had my eye on a cheese Danish, but decided to walk for a bit and come back later. I was shocked to see the shelves almost bare a few hours later! Luckily, the chocolate bread pudding was to die for. Go there. You won't be... More

I cannot say enough about the quality and the goodness of A&J King bakers. Their bread pudding is to die for as are their scones, muffins, breads. Well, let me finish by saying everything they have in their bakery is excellent.

This place is great. It's always filled with locals & tourists alike. A nice selection of baked goods as well as very nice, fresh sandwiches & coffee. It's off the beaten track and you have to look for the place, but it's worth it. Food is fresh & reasonably priced. Take out is great if you want to have a... More

I'm not one of those people that completely freaks out when they find hair in their food but I think it's worth mentioning that I did as it reflects they way the food is prepared. That wasn't my main issue though, which was that my sandwich didn't even taste very good to begin with! The turkey and chèvre was average... More

Overall this seemed to be a charming place and everything looked good. My sister enjoyed her apple tart and I loved the pecan shortbread cookie; however, the almond croissant was dry and below average. We went there as recommended by some locals for the pecan rolls or sticky buns but they were sold out by the time we got there;... More

ordered both the ham & cheese and the chocolate croissants, both were deliciously buttery and perfectly flaky. not overpowered by too much fillings, just enough to make it tasty. just a quick pop in and out as we ordered our breakfast to go, so we could take it with us while walking to our next destination.

I used to live in Salem and went here often. I have since moved and have still come back a few times. I love the coffee, especially the Iced Lattes. Also, their croissants are excellent as are their muffins and cookies. Their bread is good as well....although I have had better. The only reason I wouldn't give it a Five... More

I love this bakery! Every time when in Salem I try to visit. Epi is the best if you like crust! You can sit and enjoy pastry and coffee on the spot or you can buy for home. Great location also.
