I had a Bismarck, which is what I heard they are known for. I'm mad I only got the small one! It was fantastic! I also had a scone, that was delicious! The employees were very helpful in answering my many questions, and the coffee was good too.

The best bismarck's I've ever had. I'm a 3rd generation eating here and it's always A+. I live in Florida now labor day thru June, and this is one of our first stops when we are back on north shore.

When you go to Coffee Time in Salem MA, be sure to enjoy a bismark. This is a sub shaped, raised dough pastry that is split and filled with delicious stuff like lemon filling or raspberry or blueberry and then topped with a large thick layer of heavy. REAL, whipped cream. The coffee I got was excellent. It was a... More

Great pastries, especially the Bismark creams. We tried it all: donuts, coffee, whoopee pies, cookies. The only things that were so-so were the breakfast sandwiches on bagels. The bagels were fine, just skimpy on the egg and bacon in them. But they still deserve 5 stars for the baked goods and coffee.

If you are near Salem - this is a must stop treat IMHO!!! All flavors of Bismarcks are fantastic - the cream is outstanding - very fresh and the donuts are so light - a very memorable indulgence!

One of the best Bismarck's I have ever had (Kane's is better) and the pastries are very good.My favorite is the turtle cheesecake as the caramel is buttery with a hint of salt. They also have breads and doughnuts that are of good quality.

Maybe not the best place for someone on a serous diet - but we really enjoyed our Bismark and Paczki and figured we walked the whipped cream calories off later. Nicely priced and enjoyable. A booming takeout business seems to also be happening here.

Not only is the coffee good but there homemade pasteries are out of this world! But it's well worth the price!

Found this little local bakery while searching on line for things to do in Salem. The service was friendly . The young ladies at the counter answered or questions. We sampled two pastries and both were delicious. Worth the trip. Bring some home.

We found this awesome bakery by our hotel and ate breakfast there twice. The only bad thing is having to DECIDE what to have! We tried a few things, all of them delicious. I am a "City"girl living in a place that has NO GOOD BAKERIES or baked goods. So when we travel it is the only time I can... More
