Great quality of food, but...

Good place, that COULD be great. The food is REALLY delicious cool hipster barbecue stuff, with the prerequisite obsession with bacon, pickles, spiced mayos etc... but the portions are nothing to write home about, prices are on the high end (for what is essentially a sandwich shop) and the plates... read more

We arrived here shortly after 1, so the lunch rush was over, but the service was SO slow. The servers seemed annoyed that we were there. The food was pretty good, but not fantastic. I had the fish tacos. Good flavor, but watery, which meant I couldn't eat the soggy shells.

This was a tough place to rate. The location is fine, the food is actually quite food and feels "made from scratch." However, sadly, service was BAD. No one acknowledged our presence for about 10 minutes. We sat for 10 more minutes before our next visit from the waitress. More than one item was "unavailable." The waitress had trouble getting... Everything is homemade. EVERYTHING. Down the the ketchup for your fries. My friend had claim chowder and said that was very good [ but thats a staple food in ma, so it should be]. Everything else was to specialized. If that is something your into, and if you like bacon, then you will enjoy this place. If you like things... More

The food was delicious but water poured out of the air conditioner in the ceiling onto our table. The waitress told us it was due to condensation, of course. It was gross. The ceiling is stained with brown water stains. Our soup came after our sandwiches and the anchovies for the caesar salad came with the bill. Service was spotty.

My family stopped in for lunch and we were not disappointed. The food was fresh and flavorful. We sampled the homemade chips and dip, clam chowder, blt and panini. We also took some bacon chocolate chip cookies to go. It tasted like heaven in your mouth. I would definitely go back again!

To be truthful, we never ate the food. We left because we never got served. Came in sat down, waiter brought menus and never came back... To many good places in Salem to deal with not a lack of service, but no service. Skip it...

Simply delightful chicken fingers, inventive and clean menu items. The staff is friendly and is timely as they can be with your food. Try not to go during lunch hour unless you want one heck of a wait.

Everything is made here and local hence scratch. Anything and everything is great but start off with the bacon popcorn. Just a quaint little place that is totally real food. Did I say they make their own bacon !

Fantastic food that comes from New England. Usually a good mixture of options and some great desserts. They have a variety of drinks on tap. The waitstaff can sometimes be less than stellar.
