no welcome. Had to ask if we could sit down. We're out of Bloody Mary mix. No coffee was made and we ended up getting it halfway through our meal when we saw staff standing around drinking it upon our arrival. Our server was rude and did not want to be there. Our hash browns came out cold and dry.... More

I stopped in for lunch, menu looked amazing and the staff was super-friendly. I went with the suggestion of the waitress- a Steak sandwich (something I would have never ordered on my own). All I can say is WOW! Absolutely amazing!!! Also got a beer as she suggested and that was just as yummy. Waitress was so helpful in pointing... More

This place was delicious. I went here on a date with someone, and we both have food allergies. This place was just awesome. Everything is made from scratch, as the name suggests, but still delicious. It takes a little time for things to be made and brought out, but it's kind of to be expected. Don't come in if you're... More

This is a no frills sandwich shop. Some of the best fries ever! Pulled pork was soggy from the slaw dressing which was all in the same basket. Other then the sogginess, everything else was great.

The food was delicious, and that's the one positive thing I have to say. The staff was unfriendly, and at certain points just plain rude. I don't know why the service was so poor, but it's an internal issue they really should address.

Alright here's the problem the food was great. BUT, the service was horrible... The young man that seated us and took a while to take our order was very unpleasant. He looked angry the whole time and clearly did not want to be there. He spoke very monotone like he was depressed or something. It took a while to get... More

We couldn't decide what to order as everything sounded good so ordered a few items to split. The food was tasty and fresh. Our waiter, Bryan, could not have been more patient, helpful, pleasant and attentive. Would definitely go back.

Sat in SK on Halloween surrounded by witches and warlocks. All the food seemed home made and natural - skin-on fries served in a flower pot plus they make their own bread. Even the cola was made with cane sugar. A great place to go for lunch and at a reasonable price too.

We visited Scratch Kitchen while on a food tour in Salem and I'm so glad we stopped by! We sampled two types of sandwiches, a soup and bacon fries and it was all delicious! I especially love that everything at the restaurant is locally sourced. We will definitely visit again if ever in Salem!
