Went to this restaurant with my wife and kids and before we could even get in some old man rushed to the door to stop us from walking in the establishment which most people do in restaurants across the country the last time I checked. Our party was 7 people ! 2 adults and our five kids. The old guy... More

Look, I get it. Restaurants make mistakes, things happen. What matters is how they react whether make a mistake, and on that front Brodie's was hugely disappointing. It was our waitress' second day, she happily informed us when things started to go south, and our food came out over a span of 10-15 minutes: son's mac and cheese first, hubs'... More

We ate here many times while in Salem. The food was really great. If you get a chance, try the Key Lime Pie cupcakes. Awesome!

...this place for the clam chowder.but it was much, much more than that! a great alcohol selection an attentive, smiling waitstaff and an owner that wanted to interact with the patrons. the menu was rock solid, fairly priced, with good looking dishes coming out of the kitchen that were hearty with not too much fru-fru by the executive chef. my girlfriend and i shared... Me and my five friends went there for lunch before going back to Canada. We got there at 1 pm, we were supposed to leave at 2:30 pm, we finally got served at 2:30... Worst then that, we were missing one hamburger and we ordered some extras that we were charged for, but they never added those. Never go there!

Stopped in for a quick beer and lunch on the patio before the trek home. This was on a weekday at noon when the place was just opening. The boss came out to see if we had been served and sent out the staff immediately. Service was so fast! We order 2 lobster rolls with fries on the side and... More

We went in to just have a cocktail and came out making new friends. We spoke with the owner for a long time, and the bartender Sara was great. We left and they asked us to come back and watch the Bruin's game. We went back after dinner and we just had a great time hanging out. You need to... More

Went there with my wife and daughter. We started with the calamari which was poor, it had a heavy breading with no taste. My wife had the fish and chips, again the breading on the fish was thick with no taste and the fries were from a bag. I had a burger and onion rings. The burger was excellent, this... More

We had fried whole belly clams, clam chowder, and fried haddock fish sandwiches for lunch. Sat outside since the weather was so nice. Readers of other reviews will note, I do not like seafood that is overly breaded/seasoned. Clams were perfect, lightly floured and fried until just done. They were not greasy, just great. Fish sandwiches were also lightly breaded,... More

We sat on the patio for lunch and enjoyed the most incredible fresh haddock, onion rings and fried food that not only was easy to digest and not greasy but cooked to perfection! The waitress Krislyn was kind and polite, inside was a little loud but the ambiance outside was nice and my experience was perfect! A+
