We had a luscious dinner here: feasted on the grilled romaine salad, grilled octopus w/chick peas salad, grilled calamari w/greens, & margherita flat-bread pizza; bottle of wine from Spain. The menu had many wonderful sounding items, so it was hard to choose! They make their own pasta, by the way. Next time..... Excellent service, & very attractive decor with opening... More

Had a nice prociutto flatbread and salad here. Nice atmosphere and location. Good waitstaff. Rest of menu looked really good. Bright spot in a city of alarmingly poor food establishments!!

Walk just around the corner from the Peabody Essex Museum and be transported to gracious and delicious dining that reminds us of Italy. Pasta dishes masterfully prepared and service that was sincerely friendly. Ask for Sarah's table and enjoy a super meal as this charming place.

Delightful service in a delightful location. Our food was fresh, unique, and delicious. The wine and beer list is creative and extensive. Highly recommended!

This is a great restaurant located in teh heart of downtown Salem, MA. The food is fantastic - the grilled octopus was simply the best I have ever had outside of Tuscany, Italy. Delicate and delicious! The grilled flat bread was wonderful and the home-made pasta was great. They have a nice wine list - be sure to ask for... More

This has become our "go to" restaurant. The food is great and the staff is well versed in dealing with gluten free requests. They have GF pizza, but the thing I love is the pasta. And don't miss the greek salad - it is unlike any I have ever had.

Excellent grilled octopus and soup. I was feeling in the mood for seafood, and the fresh grilled fish, and main course "Brodetto del Adriatico" (a fish stew) was divine. Wines by the glass were of good quality. Friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. It was not open for lunch, which surprised us.

On a beautiful spring evening, what better than to sit outside with a bottle of good wine (recommended by the restaurant since our selection wasn't available - excellent quality and the price was right), an interesting menu, an attentive but not hovering server? We shared some wonderful pastas. One of the best meals I've had in Salem; our first visit,... More

Stopped by for wine and appetizer of the meatball kind...wine list and bartender were knowledgable and kind to a solo traveler. Loved it so much that I returned next day for full entree. Btw, veal saltimboca do I need to say much more? Tender, tasty and so delicious. Like the meatball dish the night before AMAZING! Wish I lived nearby....
