We went as a group of 4 for Valentines night this past weekend and couldn't be more thrilled. The couple we went with had been before and raved so we had to try. We got there early and were just going to have drinks while we waited but the hostess was able to sit us 3o mins early! Our fold... More

Have dined at the Adriatic several times in the last year and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience every time. Excellent food and desserts, a high level of service and comfortable atmosphere. Menu prices reflect the level of quality and service.

My granddaughter and I had a wonderful meal. The server was very attentive, despite the busy tables. The food was delicious.

It is Restaurant Week in Salem. Restaurant week actually runs from 3 to 16 November (except for weekend days). So it is really Restaurant Fortnight in Salem... But I will not quibble over much... I have been to the Adriatic Restaurant and Bar at 155 Washington St. Grilled Endive with pears, goat cheese and balsamic glaze...The endive wedges were charred... More

Yum, yum and yum. I had the Pumpkin Ravioli in brown butter sauce. It was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. The lady across from me said she travels a lot and it would rate as her number one best thing she has ever ate! Sit outside, sip your wine and enjoy fabulous food in the... More

Our party of four arrived at 9:30 for dinner - only 30 minutes before closing time. Dining room was not crowded but we were never rushed. Waiter provided very personalized service and engaged in conversation without ever compromising service. Meals were very nicely presented, excellent quality ingredients and careful preparation. Would recommend.

After reading several reviews we decided on Adriatic based on what others had written and we weren't disappointed. The service was good(even though it wasn't busy when we were there) and the food was very good! I had the spicy salami pizza and a salad and the portions were good and the food was delicious!! The only downfall was the... More

This was a nice quiet place, good service, reasonably priced and had gluten free options ( pizza, pasta ). The pizza is highly recommended.

We had a lovely late lunch on their outside terrace. The variety of gourmet/specialty pizzas was a welcome treat after a long day of sightseeing & shopping. The restaurant had a nice wine list also. I especially enjoyed our waiter with his mixture of Boston/Italian accent - very charming. The only odd thing was that we were the only patrons.... More

The dinner menu offers a good variety of choices with a largely Italian approach -- but excellent seafood. Fine service, comfortable for conversation.
