My husband and I recently visited Salem on our honeymoon. We were in Salem a week and ate at the Soup Factory every day but one, only because I wanted to try Boston Hot Dog Company. All the soups were amazing!! They also let you try all the soups. This was definitely our favorite place to eat in Salem and... More

Both the soups we ordered were excellent. My boyfriend and I shared the chicken avocado wrap and half of one was plenty for both of us. Excellent portion sizes, reasonable prices. Great place for anyone on a budget.

My fault for ordering something other than the soup. You don't go to a rib joint and order the pasta. My wife and I had the turkey and havarti roll ups and my daughter had the chicken noodle soup. The roll ups had plenty of lettuce and tomato but hardly any meat or cheese. I mean one slice of each.... More

Good quick stop for lunch in between attractions. Four people, four soups, they were all excellent. Wish there was something similar near home.

Stopped in the New England Soup Factory for lunch while visiting historical sites in Salem. I had heard about this place from other online resources and wanted to give it a shot. In fact, this is where I went to get my bowl of clam chowder. The day we stopped in they had a wide variety of soups including corn... More

Good chicken noodle although my serving was skimpy on the meat and noodles and heavy on broth. The sandwiches are also very good.

We had kids, teens and adults in our group of eight. Everyone found a sandwich or wrap or soup they liked. Plus, they offer soup samples prior to ordering. We liked the clam/corn chowder and the lobster bisque. Oh, and the soft pretzel sticks with apricot/mustard dip was yummy.

Stopped in here on a visit to Salem. Easy street parking available nearby. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and the young lady behind the counter let my kids sample every soup they wanted to try. They each found something they liked and my wife ordered the clam chowder which she said was fantastic. I ordered a sandwich... More

It's the perfect lunch. Stop by, taste as many soups as you'd like, and order one (or two). Each soup is distinctive, and all were delicious. We ordered wraps to go with them, and it was the perfect lunch.

Good variety of soups you can even sample them before ordering. Also tried veggie sandwich that was delicious. Small place with lots to offer.
