Good chicken noodle although my serving was skimpy on the meat and noodles and heavy on broth. The sandwiches are also very good.

We had kids, teens and adults in our group of eight. Everyone found a sandwich or wrap or soup they liked. Plus, they offer soup samples prior to ordering. We liked the clam/corn chowder and the lobster bisque. Oh, and the soft pretzel sticks with apricot/mustard dip was yummy.

Stopped in here on a visit to Salem. Easy street parking available nearby. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and the young lady behind the counter let my kids sample every soup they wanted to try. They each found something they liked and my wife ordered the clam chowder which she said was fantastic. I ordered a sandwich... More

It's the perfect lunch. Stop by, taste as many soups as you'd like, and order one (or two). Each soup is distinctive, and all were delicious. We ordered wraps to go with them, and it was the perfect lunch.

Good variety of soups you can even sample them before ordering. Also tried veggie sandwich that was delicious. Small place with lots to offer.

On the chilly October day when we had lunch at the New England Soup Factory we had been put into a foul mood by persistent rain, heavy traffic, and scarce parking. Thankfully, the wonderful soup we had there put us into a much better frame of mind. The counterman who waited on us was very friendly and helped us decide... More

On a cold winter's day, the Soup Factory is a blessing. They make their soups from scratch, and will allow you to sample the various flavors available each day. My favorite is the chicken vegetable (carrots and onion). They put noodles in to order, you tell the server when to stop adding the noodles. They also have a great clam... More

After taking in some of the museums in Salem we went looking for a place to have lunch. After looking at a few menus we saw the Soup Factory. It was hard to see the menu because of the condensation on the windows, but we saw enough to step inside. As soon as you walk in you know you made... More

I stopped in here to grab a quick lunch and had the corn and clam chowder. The soup was very good and they let you try the different types before you buy. Prices are fair and the place was continuously packed. Looks like a local favorite and I can see why.
