This is the place I go to for lunch when I am working in Salem. They carry at least 5 different soups daily; and the selections change daily. They let you try as many samples as you want before you decide. Even the soups they carry regularly like the chicken noodle and clam chowder have a unique and different take... More

This is another place we always visit while in Salem. The menu has changed a bit and there was only one vegetarian option which was disappointing, but as always the soup was delicious. Nice for a quick lunch!

Loved the Clam Chowder. I would definitely go back for more! My daughter tried the chicken noodle but wasn't impressed.

Very nice and prompt service. The soup is yummy and perfect for the cold season. Very reasonably priced compared to NY price.

While touring Salem we found the Soup Factory for our lunch stop. The cafe is small with a single employee but worth the wait to place our order. I was able to taste several soups before settling on the lobster bisque, served with a chunk of fresh bread. All the soups were excellent. My husband opted for a sandwich, also... More

Soup was good, some innovative "blends" but executed average. Staff was very friendly and professional. Clean place, but small.

We stopped in for a quick bite and some soup to warm up. They let us taste a couple soups before deciding, which is a really nice touch. We had two soups and shared a sandwich, all of it was very good and flavorful. The spicy lentil soup is excellent, as well as the peanut soup. It suddenly became busy,... More

We were hoping for traditional soups, got offerings that were far from that. No real clam chowder; the corn-and-clam stuff had no discernible clams and there was a bunch of unexpected herb flavor, quite unbalanced. "Bowl" was a paper dish, plastic spoon with bad shape that kept dripping. Contrary to other reviews, I also found the price/value rather high. Only... More

Had the clam corn chowder and it was amazing. Friendly staff and great soup choices. This is a must. Plus they have samples.

We grabbed a quick lunch here before heading home at the end of the weekend. I'm really glad we did! My fiancee and I both got the corn clam chowder and it was delicious. Really fairly priced as well. I would most definitely visit this little gem again.
