This is my third trip to In a Pig's Eye and I really enjoy coming here. The food is very 'stick to your ribs' and they mix a great drink. I had a really good Chicken Parm with pasta and two drinks that were potent. The best part is the local entertainment and being able to relax with the local... More

Great lunch stop in this very weird town. The lady owner was really welcoming and the atmosphere was comfortable and laid back. Definitely worth a visit.

After seeing the House of Seven Gables , walking around we stopped in In a Pigs Eye for a quick bite. It is small rustic setting with nice serves and warm feeling Staff like the locals are very friendly and social We had sandwhiches and burgers but the food was plain tasting. Although cooked it lacked flavor. even the sandwhichs... More

This was a great find recommend by Kay at the Daniels House where we stayed. I had t h email pastrami melt ando my daughter had the veggie melt. They were both delish! I would definitely check In a Pig's Eye out if you go to Salem MA

We went in on a busy Saturday night and while we were able to get seated quickly the service was poor. It took a while to get a menu and then even longer to get a menu. The menu was pretty tiny and we seemed to have multiple people trying to serve us and do multiple jobs in the restaurant.... More

A tavern type eatery in a historic neighborhood. As out-of-towners though, we did not feel very welcomed by the waitress, who never so much as smiled at us. The food was tasty and plentiful though.

We stopped here on the way back from The House of the Seven Gables. The menu had less then 15 items on it which was very disappointing and caused us to leave before we even got drinks because no one had any interest in their food. Would not recommend visiting here! We even wanted to sit at a different table... More

Try the clam chowder! It is the best I ever had. Perfect cozy New England pub style restaurant. Owner is on premises and advises what to eat on the menu for out of townies. You can tell they care about their customers. Chips and salsa is also amazing. Best restaurant in Salem :)

Enjoyed a evening at this pub. Great local atmosphere, good food. The service was excellent and the young lad that was managing the tables was really on the ball ensuring everyone was served. Meal was followed by good local band, did not know any of the songs being from the uk but the music was good.
