My wife, granddaughter, and I ate here while visiting Winter Island. A local pub serving dinner where we had to wait for the staff to arrive to decide what was going to be on the special for the night. Didn't mind the wait at all since the meal, service and atmosphere was well worth it. Definitely order the clam chowder... More

We ate here only once. Love the 'pub' ambiance but the food was just okay. We didn't stay for the live bands but I'm sure that makes it more enjoyable.

We went to this restaurant as it advertised itself as friendly with chat and music. We thought we would pass a pleasant evening here. The food was OK ,nothing special, but the waiting staff were abrupt and unfriendly. There seemed to be a regular crowd who received much attention with jokes and friendly banter but none for us. We decided... More

This is my second time to 'In a Pig's Eye' and it is a very nice restaurant to visit when you are in town. The food is good bar food. I had a special Mac & Cheese with bacon that could have fed two people, the service is very good and attentive and it was a nice place to spend... More

very small place; enjoy conversation with the locals; food and drink is relaxing; if you're looking for upscale, this is not your place

Good local pub in Salem. Most of the food is comfort-pub food. Good taste and good value. On Monday-Wednesday (I think) they have a Mexican menu (I prefer the normal menu). Good beer selection. They seem to have bands set up and play many nights (maybe after 8pm?)- which gets loud for such a small place. If you like blues... More

I think this restaurant must have been a corner grocery store in an earlier life. The menu is varied. Great fish cakes, hamburgers and salads. Close to many Salem tourist sites.

Friendly and rapid service. Copious portions. A good list for locally brewed beers. A good location near the harbor. Live music some evenings.

What luck finding this little gem. Hungry after visiting The House of Seven Gables and wanted some lunch before our next adventure. Ducked in here and was greeted immediately by a happy server who seated us at the window in the sunshine - perfect! We ordered our beverages and perused the extensive menu selections and the specials. Our server suggested... More

I have eaten at the Pigs Eye a number of times over the past few years. It has a small pub atmosphere . A nice bar. Many locals. They have reasonably priced nightly specials and a menu that includes both value and more expensive dinners . The Pigs Eye also has entertainment several nights a week. This is a good... More
