Great food

We often get visits from family and friends, and enjoy going out to experience all that Salem has to offer. Stopped in for lunch, and ordered burgers and steak egg rolls with pork belly sliders. Everyone loved their meal. Service was great even though the only wait person got immediately slammed... read more

This gem of a restaurant should be featured on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. My family and I didn't know what quite to expect considering the name and outside appeal, but the customer service and food was amazing. I had to admit the collard greens was just a touch better than my own. The catfish was awesome and so was... More

Stopped here for lunch on my way to catch the 1:00 Ferry back to Boston, it was awesome! Evidently the place has been taken over by new owners since last year and they've shaken things up a bit. The staff was very friendly and even gave me a complimentary tasting of the jalapeno corn bread they had made that morning... More

The food was amazing. Staff were super friendly. Atmosphere was fun. And if you like live music go for a later dinner, they have live bands almost every night!

I visited Salem MA with my daughter from NC. we flew in on a Thursday and stayed till Sunday. This little corner restaurant was right down the street from our 300 yr. old B&B. We had other options near by to eat at but of course the Name caught my name and we went there. They had a nice Bar... More

New ownership. Gone is the wonderful institution of the old Pig's Eye. Came around 4:30. Only ones eating (two). Vegetarian options mostly gone. Said new menu coming. My friend had Shrimp Po' Boy. Shrimp was hard. Liked the baked beans. I had Jalapeno Corn Bread with Honey Butter and Iceberg Wedge with Bleu Cheese dressing. Corn bread was burnt. Honey... More

Fun spot. Obviously popular. The host was very helpful and a pleasure to have him join our table to make suggestions.

We were attracted by the delicious smells and cute decor and we were not disappointed! Delicious deviled eggs, must try steak bomb egg rolls and great BBQ! Small restaurant with a nice bar.

Was so glad to find Barbeque!!! Loved the food and the beer was cold. Spouse stated the tea was the best! Easy parking and we were sad we did not have time to go back and enjoy the nightly music.

My husband and I smelled the BBQ as we were walking by (mmm), so we decided to stop in for a bite to eat. The place was very small and very loud. They had a few low tables and about four high tables. The menu is very limited. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my husband had the Cuban... More
