Went with my best friend during an impromptu trip to Salem around Halloween. They had an impressive selection of beer and great soup! We thought it was a cute, cozy little spot! I could definitely see myself hanging out there a lot if I were a local.

Almost always busy, and usually very nice to sit inside and chit chat. I especially love the hot chocolate there!

Stopped here to sit a spell after exploring the city. Friendly staff. Delicious food and beverages. Fun atmosphere. Met and conversed with some fellow travelers and locals.

We always enjoy at least one meal at Gulu Gulu while visiting Salem. Love the atmosphere, the art on the walls featuring local artists, great service, music, and of course the delicious food! This visit we tried a new menu item, the make your own crepe and also the portabella mushroom crepe which was out of this world! Our server... More

A funky, artsy interior and outdoor seating available. Very fast and friendly service. Great sandwiches. Excellent beer selection. I wish I lived closer to this place. I would be a regular.

They have a little something for everyone. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was great. We were lucky to have a beautiful day in Mid October to still enjoy the outside seating in the plaza. The food was great and finished up with a nice drink from the cafe. Our sandwich and panini were wonderful and was impressed... More

Gulu Gulu Café was a great find on a weekend trip to Salem. They had awesome smoothies, really good sweet and savory crepes, and a really cool atmosphere. The only thing from not giving them a 5 is their salads. It could have been a little bit better. Otherwise it was a great place for brunch and lunch.

We were wandering around Salem and wanted to find a good place for lunch. This place was recommended so we found it and stopped in. It was fun and the lunch was delicious. I had their vegetarian breakfast bagel sandwich, not because I don't eat meat but because it sounded really good. It was so delicious! Service was good...fine, actually.... More
