My husband and I have been in transition for the past few months without a kitchen to really call our own. So,needless to say we have eaten out a lot in the past months as my many reviews have shown. As we are just about to end this 4 month holiday we happened to be in Salem yesterday and happened... More

Arrived starving on Sunday afternoon & got a bar stool and a gigantic, delicious panini sandwich with chips & salad. Just rode my bike 40 miles and was starving and this did the trick --- bread was grand and stuffed with good things in a portion that satisfied me. Price surprisingly under $10. To top it off, the staff here... More

Stopped in on a Saturday night bc there was a band playing. The place was kind of empty. We sat in a corner near the stage. The chairs were wobbly and a little dirty. The jazz band was not really that great, they really just seemed to be making noise. After waiting a while to be recognized the friendly waitress... More

Friendly, funky very good menu. A selection of craft beer to suit any taste with a nice menu that will compliment anything you decide on...2 thumbs up on the crepes and the Munich sandwich. Service was a little harried, but very friendly, don't expect instant food, needless to say well worth the wait.

Gulu-Gulu Cafe is great! Escape the witchiness of the rest of Salem to enjoy a top quality meal with one of the best beer lists you will ever find! Gulu-Gulu can be very busy at times though, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, and the service, while very good, can be slow (did I mention this place... More

We looked at the reviews and it was even recommended by a gentleman we talked to on the street. I had the Wrap of the Day. It was a tasty and unique filling, but the wrap was too wet and broke apart. It was also quite noisy.

What a great find. I took the reviews of others and tried this restaurant while in Salem Mass. We stopped for lunch and the food was fantastic. I had a Mexicow crepe that was spicy and delicious, others with us had a Smores crepe and a hummus wrap. Everyone enjoyed their meal .

Small cafe stopped for a quick cup of tea landed up with a spinach wrap with rare roast beef, Boursin, tomato and salad with balsamic vinegar and lettuce with crisps, yummy and a nice glass of Italian wine. Their speciality was crepes. Lovely friendly bohemium style cafe, no booking turn up sit down and chill

We stopped here for some caffeine! Cute little place. Wait staff was learning how to take orders on their iPhones. Had two creme brûlée lattes with a brownie to split. Cheap! The brownies are HUMONGOUS. I promise, 1 brownie at $2+ and you get two huge brownie squares. Plenty for 2 people I promise. Lattes were awesome. Strong espresso shots!... More
