They have a little something for everyone. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was great. We were lucky to have a beautiful day in Mid October to still enjoy the outside seating in the plaza. The food was great and finished up with a nice drink from the cafe. Our sandwich and panini were wonderful and was impressed... More

If you're looking for a fun casual place for satisfying light-fare; you've arrive. Whether you set at the bar, grab a table, or relax on one of the comfy couches, you can enjoy great music, satisfying food, and fantastic beverages (either with or without alcohol). My stop into Gulu Gulu was for breakfast, which consisted of a BEC (bacon, egg,... More

Gulu Gulu Café was a great find on a weekend trip to Salem. They had awesome smoothies, really good sweet and savory crepes, and a really cool atmosphere. The only thing from not giving them a 5 is their salads. It could have been a little bit better. Otherwise it was a great place for brunch and lunch.

We were wandering around Salem and wanted to find a good place for lunch. This place was recommended so we found it and stopped in. It was fun and the lunch was delicious. I had their vegetarian breakfast bagel sandwich, not because I don't eat meat but because it sounded really good. It was so delicious! Service was good...fine, actually.... More

Charming cafe with an artsy feel to it. This place makes me feel comfortable and in my element. I had the spiced chai latte. It's very good yet not like something you'd get at Starbucks, it actually tastes like tea. The chicken salad wrap is fresh and delicious but the onions on it are quite angry. Overall great place to... More

Being a long time regular of this location It pains me to see how poorly run this restaurant is. Its basically a bunch of servers and bartenders running the show with no signs of management. I am aware this is not the type of place where you are in a rush to get in or get out. My problem lies... More

We arrived in Salem on a Saturday and had this for lunch. We loved our drinks and paninis SOOOO much that we came back again on Sunday afternoon! Great staff and great food. Busy place (especially the month of October) and great location, so be prepared to wait a little bit for a seat.

Funky and different. Best for a beer and a light snack. Bills itself as vegetarian but it must definitely is not. Menu is heavy on sandwiches, paninis and crepes. Many Czech dishes, but not a consistent theme. The sopsky salat (cucumber and tomato) was uninspired. The black olives were the tasteless canned variety. The Caesar salad was OK but more... More

Came in and straight away got a very warm welcome from the staff. Great atmosphere, good and very tasty selection of drink/food and friendly service. Would recommend this to all!

Consistency, fresh to death, properly staffed with hardworking and knowledgeable folks who treat you the way you should be treated. CASUAL atmosphere with great artwork, impressive and ever changing beer menu, best 'build yer own' crepes evah. I recommend the spinach/portobello. EXTREMELY Well managed and always evolving in the best ways possible. also try everything. (For a frame of reference)... More
