I have been here a few times and have tried various dishes. The food has been good each time, nothing spectacular mind you, but it is priced well. It is a mom and pop operation, and the staff seems actually real and happy to see you, as opposed to most places that just go through the motions. I really liked... More

I lived in Hawaii until I was 5. The teriyaki beef evoked all those happy childhood memories and rivaled my mom's own recipe! The coconut shake tasted fresh out of the shell- delicious. A great first impression with more on the menu to try next time.

Lani's Luau is the real deal, bro' ! I know; I used to live on Maui and on Big Island. Lani & Zane not only offer authentic Hawaiian food but also--if you take the time--a total immersion in Hawaiian culture w/ decor, books, classes and more in the restaurant's side room. Lani's kalua pig is as good as any I... More

We enjoy Lani's! The food is just good and the atmosphere is fun. If you have ever been or lived in the islands, you will enjoy for the memories it evokes. Food could be fresher, but we are landlocked in Tucson, after all. Atmosphere and music are kitchee, but enjoyable! Owners are very friendly!

Food was okay but nothing really special. Owners are super nice and we really wanted to like the food and service for that reason. You can feel the love they have for this place but it's just not enough. Would love to see HGTV get a hold of this place, Restaurants Impossible could do wonders to help them succeed. Decor... More

Been going here since mid 2012. We try to go at least once a week, sometimes with family and/or with friends, all love the food and the hospitality from the owners. Best place for plate lunches like in Hawaii here in Tucson. Has everything you find at a plate lunch eatery and at luau (including poi). Prices are very reasonable... More

We decided to order take out from here to try something different as we had heard rave reviews, so we got about 5 different plates to share. It was not awful, but certainly far from impressive. The food was greasy, the flavors were boring, the cuts of meat and fish were cheap and the portions were unimpressive in size. Now... More

The food is very good. I've eaten numerous selections from the menu and have really liked everything. The prices are the most reasonable in Tucson. The amount of food they give you was more than plenty. The atmosphere was like being in a local place in Hawaii. The owners are wonderful people. They always make you feel welcome. I've been... I've been here several times in the last few months and really enjoy it. I can't comment on most of the main dishes because there isn't too much vegetarian, but my partner really enjoys the food. I always get malasadas and the potato mac is REALLY good! They also have the Hawaiian juices that are really hard to find elsewhere.... More

My husband and I LOVE this place! If we didn't live an hour away, we'd be here constantly! My husband grew up in Hawaii, so he's always searching for good Hawaiian food and he found it here! He fell in love with their spam musubi and chicken katsu. I prefer their manapua (steamed bread filled with meat) and malasadas (little... More
