Poco & Mom's location on S Kolb has always been busy but we have never tried it. When they moved closer we decided to try it out. What a surprise and unexpected treat. Fantastic food at a very reasonable price. The sour cream green chili sauce is to die for. A perfect topping for the chicken chimichanga. There was something... More

Every time I travel to Tucson, I make it a point to go by and get their breakfast. their chile rellenos are outstanding as is their machaca. I also LOVE their green chile pork stew. Some of the best I've ever had.

Poco and Moms is an unassuming little place. Not fancy but comfortable and the help is very friendly. Since their New Mexico style food is slightly different than the Tex Mex or sonoran we are used to, we had questions. They were readily answered and we dove in. The food was very delicious and was served in large quantities in... More

If you are looking for table clothes and fancy dining, this is not the place. If you are looking for great home made mexican food and very reasonable prices, this is the place. The service is fast and friendly. Everything with green chilis is great. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner you will not be disappointed. Don't be intimidated by having to... More

The Tanque Verde location is new, so we tried it for lunch (we have never eaten at the original location on Kolb). The restaurant is clean, and the service was cheerful and friendly, but the food was very ordinary. I tried the chicken tortilla soup, plus a shredded beef burrito. The chips and salsa were good, and our server graciously... More

This place has excellent green Hatch chile and makes a mean pork enchilada and very good tortilla soup. The outdoor area is very relaxed and has a nice vibe, and the entire menu is priced very low with a good selection of Mexican beer on tap along with decent Margaritas. This is not at all a fancy place but a... More

Unless you travel and dine in New Mexico you don't recognize the unique style of cooking here. Hatch, NM is the Chili Capital of the US and they know how to grow them. Poco and Mom's knows how to use them in their dishes! Their green sauce is awesome. My wife and I love the Santa Fe breakfast plate. Eggs... More

Poco &Moms recently opened a new restaurant called Poco & Moms II at 7000 E. Tanque Verde in Tucson. Their original restaurant on South Kolb built a solid reputation for friendly service and reasonably prices New Mexican cuisine. This new location has a LONG way to go to live up to that reputation. Service was very slow. We waited an... More

I came here for breakfast - migas with Hatch chiles and migas with Hatch chiles I had. They were terrific. Service was quick, friendly and smarty pants. The place is obviously very well liked with lots of regulars and locals, and banter. Everything looked good and the coffee was great. I would love to work my way thru the menu.... More

The New Mexico style meals are the best I have had out side of Pojoaque New Mexico. Made with real Hatch chillies these meals, any one you pick, are simply delicious. This is a small restaurant with limited seating so you may need to wait for a table but the food is worth the wait, or else you wouldn't need... More
