We had the taco salad and the beef chimi. Both were fresh, hot and tasted great. The staff was so friendly. I walked through the kitchen briefly to find all the workers very friendly and chopping up fresh vegetables. Can't wait to go back and try something else:)

OK the Wife talked me into trying this place I've seen for years but never stopped Poco and Mom's.First off I've lived here in the Old Pueblo since 1986 and am a Native American from Cali Topping 275 lbs. so needless to say I know some good southwest eats. The experience began when we arrived and it was a bit busy... We love Pocos! Their food is delicious and generous portions. Most of all they love it when we come in with my brother who has Down syndrome. They know him by name and already know how order and have it in early cause they remember he eats slow. It blesses me that they treat him like their own.

We received a warm welcome from the servers. They were patient and gave recommendations for vegetarians and suggested some popular meat dishes. The food was fresh and delicious.

My wife and I had take out food orders here a couple of nights during our brief stay in Tucson. The Mexican food here was fabulous. It's a small restaurant, however, the staff is great, the menu is extensive, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this establishment.

Soon, for family reasons, we will be moving away from Tucson and our favorite neighborhood restaurant Poco & Mom's. We have been visiting there on almost a weekly basis since we moved into the area ten years ago. We have never been disappointed with the hundreds of breakfasts we have eaten there. It's always fun to banter with Barb (even... More

The food here is delicious. The salsa is awesome. I had the shredded chicken enchilada, stacked, with green chilies, and was blown away. Very authentic. The only down side was a few flies that made their way around the dining room and it took about 15 minutes to get a table. However, with a place this good, and it being... More

They would do good to expand as this place is seemingly a favorite around Tucson. There is always a wait and since its so small you have to crowd in to get a seat. However, it is well worth it! I just adore the waitresses, they are so personable and friendly and cute, they make each visit so enjoyable. They... More

You would not expect to travel to Arizona to find the best New Mexican food, but Poco & Mom's is the place! I personally love the chorizo with green sauce for breakfast, while my wife prefers the chile relleno with green sauce for lunch. Whichever you try, you will not be disappointed!

We were only in Tucson for one night and read all the good reviews both on Tripadvisor and Yelp, so we had to try it. Poco and Mom's is a little hole-in-the-wall place where you sign in on a tattered notebook if the restaurant is busy. The waitresses were friendly and down to earth, as were the patrons (regulars, I... More
