The New Mexico style meals are the best I have had out side of Pojoaque New Mexico. Made with real Hatch chillies these meals, any one you pick, are simply delicious. This is a small restaurant with limited seating so you may need to wait for a table but the food is worth the wait, or else you wouldn't need... More

This is a true gem in the Tucson area. It's a small, unattractive little restaurant but the food is out of this world. Definitely try the green chili chicken enchiladas. They are unbeatable; a little spicy though, so if you don't like spice go for the sour cream sauce, also amazing.

We live in the area and decided to try this new restaurant out. Waited 30 minutes to be seated and it was near another hour before we got our meals and mine was not what I ordered. Waitress said she would have it corrected but I was afraid of how long I would have to wait. Still, the food was... More

The simplest way to describe this place and the food is that it's what's on the inside that counts. Tiny place, but inviting with very nice wait staff. I had the red chile pork burrito. All fresh ingredients inside without a mountain of melted cheese on top. I've been to many Mexican places in Tucson and this is the best.

Formally the Amber Restaurant...A welcome addition to the Eastside/Foothills Area. New Mexican style Mexican food.. Friendly staff.. Shane gave me a tour of the remodeled space. A very nice patio that will be a great place to eat when not too hot. The kitchen is glassed in so you can see the activity. I got a Sante Fe Breakfast with... More

This place is a small place, and one that we probably would have driven by, except that someone on trip advisor had given it great reviews. I appreciate that as it helped us find real gem for mexican food. It was very busy (Friday night) and people were standing in line, which was a good sign. The place was small,... More

My wife and I really like this place. The food is very good and the service is top notch. Unfortunately, the flies also love this place. So, if you go, be ready to battle the flies for dinner. Try the chili relleno. This is the standard by which I rate Mexican restaurants. Poco & Mom's relleno is really great. Actually,... More

Bland, overpriced and overrate! I just don't get what these other Yelpers are raving about. Skip this place.

Margaritas are sensational, the food is varied and delicious. Not your typical decor for a latin restaurant. Don't leave without trying the tamale pie.

First of all the staff is down to earth and very friendly. As for the food, add the Hatch green chile sauce to anything on the menu and you won't be sorry. Had the machaca, eggs and green sauce...best breakfast ever!
