Yunmy...friendly staff and good food!

We were in Tucson recently and wanted to experience the best of Tex-Mex as the natives enjoy, not the tourists! This place was a very tiny, little out of the way spot packed with people. (A sure sign of good food). We live in the Pacific Northwest and have a large Latino population. We have eaten... read more

In town on business and decided to give this place a try. I had the New Mexico combo and it was VERY good. Topped it off with some fried ice cream. The staff was friendly, service was prompt, and price was right. What more can you ask for? I'm happy to recommend to anyone.

i have been meaning to try this restaurant when I have visited Tucson but the location was a bit out of my way. They opened a new location nearby off of Tanque Verde so I visited this location. New Mexico-Mexican food with an emphasis on green chilie. I had a pork and green chilie stew that was fantastic and my... More

We tried Poco and Mom's today and was really disappointed. The service was bad. Waited 45 minutes for the food, which turned out to be OK at best. We never got Iced Tea or water refills. We order two of the most expensive dishes on the menu and were not even offered chips and salsa. We will not be going... More

One of our favorite restaurants is the original location of P&M's. So we thought we would try the new location. What a disappointment. First of all, it appears that all dishes are about 20% more expensive than the original's. Secondly, you have to pay extra for things that are no cost at the other location. For instance, at the original... More

We stopped on a Friday evening and sat outside! Great service and fantastic food. The chips and salsa they serve are fantastic! We had our little dog along and she got a huge piece of bacon. In fact, that was one of the first questions...Can the dog have B-a-c-o-n? Enjoyed it so much we went back for lunch a few... More

A friend took me here for lunch. He was greeted with hugs by one waitress, a hearty greeting by another - obviously he is a 'regular.' Well, I see why. The service is outstanding: friendly and knowledgeable. All the food we had, including chips and salsa, is some of the very best Mexican (New Mexico style) I've ever had. They... More

We are spoiled when it comes to mexican food. But we finally found food in Tucson that is as delicious as in Taos. The salsa is probably the best I have ever tasted and the guacamole is divine. Our friends had soft tacos. My husband had chili rellenos and I had a chimichanga. All were delicious. Our waiter was superb.... More

The food was very very good, the chips and salsa might be the best I've had in my entire life. They really like to use refried beans though (like really like to use them). The service was subpar, but I think they were understaffed for a weeknight.

Ate in the new restaurant on Tanque Verde in a small shopping area that has more seating than the original restaurant. If you are driving east on Tanque Verde, it is just before the light at Sabino Canyon Road and there is parking in the front. I was there with some friends for dinner. The food was tasty and those...
