One of the best

We were a group of 5 very tired and hungry people. Service was good and the food was Great. Probably the best grilled shrimp I have ever had. Prices very reasonable for the quantity and quality. We will be back.

El Molinito is a wonderful Mexican food restaurant, and is good for dining in, carry out, or even catering (I've had all 3)! It's Mexican food the way it should be - tasty and NOT expensive. The salsa is one of my favorites anywhere, and the chips it comes with are pretty good, too! I've had a number of different... More

The wife stopped by on sat 3-7-15 to order 2 each carne seca chimi's which cost $16.54 and drives home and we sit down to eat--- the take out containers are packed full of rice and lettuce and a way over fried empty chimichanga-- Yep nothing inside. Both EMPTY. We called back and spoke to a really nice girl Cecilia... More

The salsa is a good introduction to the authentic tasting food served at this convenient restaurant. As another reviewer mentioned, many of the servers have heavy accents which required careful listening. Our dishes were adequately spiced and accurate according to our inquiry of the waiter when we ordered. This is a busy place at dinner time and they were a... More

This is one of the finest "Mexican" restaurants at a mid price level I have ever been in. The food was just like Mexico City. From taste, texture and appearance, it was Mexico. The wait staff has very strong accents, so they area little difficult to understand, unless you are used to Spanish speakers. It is clean, good drinks and... More

Dined here while visiting Tucson and person we met at resort recommended it. Large portions at good price point. Those are the highlights I am sad to say. Not bad but far from memorable.

This was the second visit here with friends. Food still as good as the 1st time....salsa is SO good. Has a little kick, but I'm a wimp, and I think it's delicious....lots of cilantro, if you like that. Enjoyed the 3 fish taco entree. Very good! Had to ask several times for more chips, otherwise service good.

El Molinito rivals my all-time favorite Mexican restaurant-- Mi Rancho in suburban D.C, started off with chips and salsa , which was thick and extra spicy. Waiter brought water without asking! Husband had the carne asada which he characterized as very good. My entree was the signature carne asada which I thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant was crowded when we arrived... More

I am very picky and opinionated about my Mexican food. It has been many years since I've been to this restaurant (because of location) but it was well worth it. I am a cheese enchilada fan so you would think this dish couldn't be messed up but... not so. It was a huge plate and just as I love it,... More
