I am very picky and opinionated about my Mexican food. It has been many years since I've been to this restaurant (because of location) but it was well worth it. I am a cheese enchilada fan so you would think this dish couldn't be messed up but... not so. It was a huge plate and just as I love it,... More

They have an outstanding lunch menu Monday thru Friday. Their Tacos are loaded with meat. They have chips with dip. Their alcohol drinks are good too.

Plan to eat a lot as the food is authentic and lots of it. Large, overflowing plates of the real thing. Great salsa and chips too.

One of my daughters and I had gone back to Tucson to visit family for the Christmas holiday, and between visiting and shopping we ended up going to "lunch" mid-afternoon. Someone suggested El Molinito and we were not disappointed. In spite of the steady stream of people coming in to pick up their orders for the evening, we were waited... More

Our party of six waited well over an hour for our food on a Saturday night, and I don't know why! Greasy, last minute substitutions because they ran out of things, and just bland. Just horrible - honestly horrible. Never ever again!

Everything was delicious at the Ina Road El Molinito. I had the chicken enchiladas and they were the best I've ever eaten. There was a unique sauce that made the lunch enchiladas even better. This is one of the beat Mexican restaurants in Tucson.

This is my first time I've eaten here when it wasn't excellent Mexican cuisine. Normally it's very good and really affordable,. The place is a bit worn out and needs some upgrades, but normally a good meal at good prices, however since opening a new restaurant on Oracle Rd, they've slipped apparently on the existing place. Service was good. The... More

Went to this restaurant with a good-sized group (10 people). The food was average- good depending on the dish. I had a taco salad which was strangely enough light on the lettuce, so not skimping on the other stuff. Three people in the group ordered chimichangas with extra guacamole. The insides were straight meat and TONS of guacamole. Like, I... More

I haven't been here in years but decided to give it another try. Although it is a bit run down appearing I do think this adds a bit to its charm. Service was great; we were attended to by multiple staff members. The food was incredible! I had the ground beef lunch chimi and my friend had the shredded beef.... More

Growing up in Arizona, I've come to appreciate Sonoran-style Mexican food so much that I've given up trying to find "good" Mexican restaurants outside the state. El Molinito is a perfect example of why. From their awesome salsa to the gooey cheese crisp to the shredded beef chimi, their food is why I head straight there whenever I get the... More
