I went to Blanco over Labor Day weekend with three of my girlfriends. We had to wait at the bar for a table, but loved getting margaritas, chips, salsa and guacamole for starters! I ordered the "special" that night, which was the Mahi Mahi fish tacos, and the fish tasted old. My server quickly took it away and gave me... More

First, the food: Fish tacos were well prepared, but were small and almost devoid of flavor. Short rib and avocado cheese crisp was a good option. House margaritas are typical restaurant variety, limeade with a little tequila. Decor: Think Jiffy Lube with a bar. Noise level: Sit outside overlooking parking lot if you want to hold a conversation. Major problem:... More

My wife and I are not regulars but we have been here a few times over the two years we have lived in Tucson and have never been disappointed in the food here. While it may not be traditional Mexican food the food is fresh, imaginative, and tasty. The service has always been good but today it was exceptional! They... More

We sat on the patio and really enjoyed the food and the experience. I had the tacos and was so glad to hear you could mix them up instead of having all one kind. There were several delicious sounding options so I tried 3 different ones.

My husband and I enjoyed a dinner here sitting out on the patio with the mountain view.. The service couldn't have been any better and the food so fresh and delicious. I had fish tacos which were light and flaky... My husband had quesadillas... All was a wonderful experience... Can't wait to go back. Even the chips and salsa are... More

Wandered in after a day of travel since it was close to the hotel. Could not have made a better choice. Food was excellent and the service was great. My wife had the mushroom taco dinner and I had the fish taco dinner. Delicious. We both ate more than we intended. We were sorry our son didn't join us and... More

We live near Blanco so we end up going there once in a while. The views are definitely great. The food is rather bland. So many great Mexican food restaurants in Tucson that it amazes me people continue to go to Blanco. It is trendy and in a nice area so I think people go there for the atmosphere and... More

We shared a sangria flight, a ceviche flight, some chips and queso, and split a couple of 'ritas. Service was very good and friendly. Lovely patio with misters, and the restaurant's located in a fantastic shopping center.

Blanco was a good choice to have chips, salsa, freshly made guacamole and a top shelf margarita. They have a huge selection of tequilas to either have straight or mixed in the margarita. The carne asada tacos were very delicious. The patio is nice with the mist cooling the breeze and overlooking the mountains and Tucson skyline.

so this place has some delicious tacos. the carnitas and crispy shrimp are particular standouts. the margaritas are strong and cold. the only downside is it is not cheap. you are looking at $13 for 3 tacos. not something for everyday, but if you want to impress a date or something like that, its worth it.
