Nice casual place to eat. Good food

We enjoyed a nice lunch here last week............inside where it was cool. This is a very lively, upbeat place with young, casually dressed servers who are very friendly and deliver great service. I had a Mexican salad with mahi and my husband had the fish tacos and we thought both were really... read more

After a long vacation we were passing through Tucson on the way home. We were staying at the Embassy suites close by Blancos and decided to give it a try. It was a Friday night around seven and it was a 20 minute wait. As we are from Dallas that was almost too easy. I wondered if it was a... More

After being disappointed by margaritas in Tucson, we finally came upon Blanco where the margaritas were not made with an overly sweet mix. Staff was great and made them like we asked. Great prices for happy hour on the margaritas and appetizers.

Blanco at fiirst is attractive. But to me the deck is too narow and small, and holds far too few customers. There is not enough shade provided on the deck, also. The menu is a let down. Basically you have your choice of a few tacos, and one enchilada, plus a couple alternatives to Maxiican. The service is always good,,... More

Blanco is a popular and attractive eartery and I usually have a meal here when I visit Tucson because my dad likes their fish tacos...Service is good and the girls working the tables attractive and very funny. The Mexican beer is properly chilled and the seasonal daquiris excellent: especially the peach ones... I wish I could be more enthusiaistic about... More

We stopped this afternoon for happy hour and sat at the bar because it was so hot out on the deck. Noise level is quite high. Service was good, but not really friendly. Margaritas are excellent. We had a bunch of apps and a few tortas. Food is very good, can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We will... More

We actually liked lunch so much we came back for dinner. The menu is interesting and for those not desiring Mexican food, they also serve a great Hamburger. The wait staff, both visits, were exceptional. The restaurant is noisy if it is crowded. We decided to sit at an outside table in the evening and take in the view of... More

We were looking for Mexican cuisine close to our hotel ( The Westin La Paloma) and came across Blanco in the La Encantada shopping center....and it was a great choice. They have a comfortable patio area that overlooks Tucson which was nice at night. They have misters on the outside areas to keep you cool. There is not a bad... More

Blanco in the La Encantada shopping center offers great Mexican food in the tradition of Mexico City cuisine. The restaurant offers outstanding city views from its outdoor patio and from tables facing the wall of windows. Our server, Natalie, was prompt and attentive. I took her advice and ordered a Oaxacan Shandy. Delicious, but two may have put me under... More

We used to live in Tucson and recently went back to get the food we missed and it was a million times better than I even remembered. Great food and margaritas, you really can't go wrong with any of the choices! To start, definitely try the warm queso blanco to enjoy some amazing chips (my fave from ANYWHERE) and salsa!
