Very tasty Thai food

Went here with a group on a Friday night. Everything they served up was tasty and just right on the spiciness. The Pad Thai was particularly good and served up in a generous portion. The staff is genuine Thai (a little iffy on English but things were OK). I'll go back for sure. A few nice Thai... read more

Each of us ordered a separate dish for dinner so we had four different dishes to try including a red curry and a pad thai. Each dish was created from fresh and flavorful ingredients. We were all very pleased with the food. The physical restaurant is nothing special, but the atmosphere is pleasant and calm. A woman with a shaved... More

We all like Thai food, and I especially appreciate restaurant meals with lots of veggies. Our last dinner here was nice but a little disappointing. The dishes were well-prepared, but I guess food price increases have driven them to cut back on the amount of fresh vegetables they use.. Each dish had its pluses and minuses. The yellow curry with... More

We go to a lot of Thai restaurants in a lot of different places, & this one has nothing to recommend it. The food wasn't bad, but it was boring. My husband's Pad Thai was bland, my sweet & sour dish was good, not great. The eggroll was blah & greasy. The soup tasted like canned vegetable. Lunch portions were... More

This restaurant is really a sleeper. In a strip mall just east of /swan on Speedway, one has to really seek it out. The decor is rather tired, and the atmosphere is down-scale family style. The food and service are both excellent. Since these are the main attractions for any restaurant, it rates a "five".

When you first walk in, with the old age of the decor and the smells coming from the kitchen, you may want to about-face and leave. And, that's okay. While the service was fine, the food is pretty average. Maybe even a tad below. It's served to order - you can get mild or Thai hot, and it is presented... More

Nothing to write home about. Ok food. Ok service. Ok atmosphere. Would not bother returning. The interior decor is rather bland and the food is rather bland, too. The service was friendly enough.

Bai Thong is an excellent lunch venue. For under $7, including tax, you can get an authentic Thai meal that includes a cup of soup and an egg roll. Service is very fast. The meal never disappoints. Your lunch experience will be very satisfying.

I go to Bai Thong for lunch often and have never been disappointed. I am boring and eat the same thing every time (pad gra pao), so I can't vouch for any dish but that one. The lunch specials (about $7) come with a cup of delicious soup, too. I'm always surprised at how quickly my food comes out and... More
