Mexican Food at it's very best! Go early for dinner!

(Shhhh! Don't tell anyone I said this) but we are from Austin Texas, and this Mexican food is better than at home! Mr. Husband had the Chile Colorado and the Meatball Soup, I had the Green Chili chicken Enchilada dinner. The deep-red Chili Colorado (their specialty) was made with large chunks of... read more

Great Mexican food in a down-home atmosphere that won't break the bank. We got the last table when we arrived at 5:30pm (they're only open until 7:30pm so plan to dine early). Loved our flautas and enchiladas, and enjoyed a Pacifico beer to wash it down with. Refried beans and mexican rice were the real thing. Loved it all!

We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. A favorite restaurant of the locals. We always make it a point to take our guests here. Small, clean, friendly, informal atmosphere (Tucson Casual). Known for its great food, generous portions and reasonable prices. Restaurant wheel chair accessible but restroom very small.

A tricky place to get into that is covered in previous reviews. Many locals and obviously frequent customers judging by the greetings. There was a steady stream of orders to go being picked up. Service was quick and friendly. The chicken fajita was spicy, tasty and not greasy like some. Asking about a small appetite the server suggested a small... More

Best tacos ever! We live in the area and have taco Friday every week if we are not out of town! Other items are great too. Very friendly and hard working staff.

My husband and I are traveling. We had to try this place and I'm so glad we did. The food was very good and at a good price. As we were eating, the place filled in fast. It's always a good sign to eat where the locals do.

Really enjoyed our dinner here. Decor pretty plain, but the food is what you're here for. It was very crowded on the night we visited - clearly a local hangout. Hope to get back one day.

Best little neighborhood, family-run, Mexican restaurant I know, and I do know a few. I pray for winter to return just so their chicken soup will be back on the menu. My friends and I have been eating here for years, and have never had a bad meal. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorite (besides... More

Nice little restaurant with tables. But we LOVE it for take out if you are headed to Desert Museum, Astronomy Night in Saguaro National Park, bird watching in Buenos Aires area - where you can stop for a picnic on your own. Good standard Mexican fare.
