Wildcat Burger

Vegan by choice a vegetarian restaurant that actually makes a burger that tastes like a burger but is a healthy alternative. Most vegetarian burgers do not come close to the real thing but the wildcat burger (named for the Arizona wildcat sports team) hit the highest marks ever on originality and... read more

I was thrilled to "rediscover" Lovin' Spoonfuls during my recent trip to Tucson. A great little casual vegetarian cafe with a nice selection of meal options - all freshly prepared. I'll definitely be back!

While visiting Tucson, my sister-in-law took me to Lovin' Spoonfuls for lunch. I had never eaten at a vegetarian restaurant before. This was a wonderful experience. I had the chili and my sister-in-law had a lentil soup. Both were flavorful. The chili was packed with vegetables - the usual ones you expect in chili plus mushrooms and more. The lentil... More

Healthy, family style meals that are delicious! The owner, Peggy Raisglid, is a Ph.D. chemist turned vegan 20+ years ago who loves to cook and entertain. She has taken all time favorite (non vegetarian) recipes and turned them into vegetarian meals. Meat eaters and vegans both love the food here! I have taken deserts, entrees and appetizers to events for... More

The crew at Lovin Spoonfuls have created an intimate bistro experience in the heart of the Old Pueblo. This is one of my "go-to" spots for out of town visitors, everyone, Vegetarian or not, can find something to fall in love with on the menu. My particular favorites are the Adzuki bean build a burger, and the Coconut curry over... More

I finally ventured over to this place on a Friday this lent season (read: no meat allowed) and I am so glad I did. I even convinced my husband to go, although he was less than enthusiastic to try anything vegan. Between the two of us, we order the chili "cheese" fries, Portobello wrap, and bbq "chicken" sandwich. We enjoyed... More

This is an all vegan family run restaurant that does a bang up job of serving wonderful food at great prices. I had the nut loaf which is what I used to make back in my vegan days, and it was very tasty! A friend had the black bean burger and loved it and another friend had the "chicken" dinner... More

Hubby and I went for a late lunch. He is a carnivore, but thoroughly enjoyed the Wildcat burger and the potato salad. I had the day's special, Chili burger: messy but great taste. We both agreed that, had we known the burgers came with a bag of organic kettle chips we probably would have ordered the cole slaw. Don't get... More

The atmosphere was very pleasant, with nice tables for seating outside. It is casual, laid back , no one bothers you if you just want to enjoy. But let's get to the food. Oh my, what a selection! Since I make so many salads and veggies at home, I decided to indulge in a little vegan decadence here, and it... More

Being somewhat new to the Vegetarian lifestyle, we have experienced meals at restaurants that do have vegetarian and vegan selections. Finding the Lovin' Spoonful on a list of Tucson Vegetarian Restaurants, we made it a destination for a late lunch. We ordered at the counter, found a comfortable table for two and had our drinks and food brought to our... More
